DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Zero FXE ZF7.2 of 2022 is light and nimble, and some riders enjoy it as much on twisty back roads or a go-kart track as in town. Accossato's AGPA92 front pad in EV1 street/track compound suits that playful side. It is designed for sporty road riders and amateur circuit use, delivering a more direct bite than an everyday pad while staying usable for the ride home.
Key Features
- AGPA92 front set for Zero FXE (ZF7.2), 2022
- EV1 street/track compound
- Accossato: excellent grip for street and amateur track riding
- Direct response for tight corners
- Handles supermoto-style kart-track sessions
- This pad also comes as OR, ST, EV2, ZXC
- Two pads, one caliper
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato describes EV1 as giving excellent grip for street riding and amateur track use. It is a mixture that bridges both worlds. On the road it works without a long warm-up, and on a short circuit it is meant to cope with the heat of repeated stops. The company's pads are designed to limit heat build-up and to wear slowly, so the compound remains consistent over a fun afternoon of laps.
Supermoto Fun on Short Circuits
Supermoto-style bikes like the FXE shine on tight tracks with hairpins and short straights. There, the front brake is used hard and often, and precise control at the lever lets you trail the brake into a corner. An EV1 pad is meant for this kind of riding. Before heading to a kart track, check pad thickness and brake fluid, and make sure the lever is set at a comfortable reach. After the session, let the brakes cool with a slow lap. On the ride home, the same pads work normally in traffic, which is what separates EV1 from the pure racing mixes EV2 and ZXC.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists AGPA92 for the front caliper of the Zero FXE ZF7.2, model year 2022. The rear brake of the FXE uses AGPP91. Change both front pads together and pump the lever before riding. If the disc shows a lip at its outer edge, measure it before fitting new pads.
Road Approval
Without an ABE or any test documents available to us, we sell these pads for sport and competition use.
