Owners who ride their Audace with some pace often find that the rear brake is useful for settling the long, heavy chassis before a bend. For that kind of rider Accossato offers the AGPA92 rear pad in the EV1 street/track compound, article AGPA92EV1, catalogued for the Moto Guzzi California Audace 1400 from 2015 to 2017. It gives a crisper response than a gentle cruising pad, for brisk road rides and the occasional relaxed track day.

Construction and Material Quality
In Accossato's words, EV1 provides excellent grip for street riding and amateur track use. At the rear of an Audace that is ridden with some commitment, that means a more immediate response when the rider uses the pedal to settle the bike. Accossato's general promises of slow wear, strong stopping and controlled heat to hold off fade apply as well. The EV1 layer is bonded to the AGPA92 backing plate.
Settling a Long Wheelbase
A long, heavy cruiser can feel a little lazy into a bend if the rider relies on the front brake alone. A light press on the rear pedal before turning in helps the chassis settle and makes the steering feel more precise. With a pad that bites a little sooner, the technique becomes easier to use, and the rider can keep the front lever for the firmer part of the stop. On an open track day, where the Audace shares the circuit with lighter machines, that extra control also helps the rider hold a tidy line.
Check the rear pads regularly, as they often wear faster than the fronts on a cruiser. After fitting, pump the pedal and bed the pads in with a series of gentle stops.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato catalogues AGPA92 for the rear of the Moto Guzzi California Audace 1400, 2015 to 2017, and AGPA96 for the front over the same years. No Accossato disc is listed for this model. One box renews the single rear caliper.
Road Approval
