Accossato's AGPA92 rear pad in the EV1 street/track compound, article AGPA92EV1, is catalogued for the Moto Guzzi California Custom ABS 1400 from 2013 to 2015. It is for owners who ride their Custom briskly on such roads and want a more immediate rear response than a cruising pad offers.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato describes EV1 as providing excellent grip for street riding and for amateur track use. On the rear of the Custom, that gives riders who use the pedal actively on descents a more direct response. Accossato also promises slow wear, strong stopping and a pad that limits heat to reduce fade. The EV1 layer is bonded to the AGPA92 plate.
Down the Pass, Solo
Without a passenger, a Custom's rear wheel carries less weight, so the rear brake needs a delicate touch. On a descent, a light but immediate response lets the rider steady the bike before each hairpin without locking the wheel. A street and track pad provides a clear, early bite that makes those small inputs easier to judge.
After a day in the mountains, check the rear pad wear and the fluid colour, since long descents can age fluid faster. Keep the disc clean and dry. If the pedal starts to feel spongy at the bottom of a long pass, stop in a safe place, let the brakes cool and ride on with more use of the engine for slowing.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato catalogues AGPA92 for the rear axle of the Moto Guzzi California Custom ABS 1400 in 2013 to 2015, under the name California 1400 Custom. The front takes AGPA96 for the same years. Accossato lists no disc for this model. One box is enough at the rear.
Road Approval
There is no ABE or German approval certificate for AGPA92EV1 in our files; it is offered for racing and competition use.
