DescriptionThe whole story▼
Take the panniers off a BMW F900GS Adventure and it turns into a different animal. Wide bars, plenty of ground clearance and an upright seat make short work of a twisting road, and riders who discover that tend to start looking at circuit days as well. Accossato's EV1 street/track material sits in the AGPA92 pad for precisely that overlap between a quick road ride and an amateur session behind a pit wall. It is listed for the F900GS Adventure of 2024 to 2026.
Key Features
- Front pads in the EV1 street/track material, article number AGPA92EV1
- Fits the BMW F900GS Adventure, 2024 to 2026
- Accossato names road riding and amateur circuit use for this material
- A step up from the everyday materials, short of the racing ones
- Two pads per box, the quantity for one caliper
- The Adventure has a front caliper on either side
- OR, ST, EV2 and ZXC versions of the same plate carry their own numbers
- No German ABE on record; supplied for the circuit
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato's line on this material is plain enough: plenty of grip for road work and for club-level track use. That places it above the mixes meant for commuting without pretending it belongs in a race paddock, which is an honest position for a pad that has to work on a heavy dual-purpose machine. Stopping power is the property the firm leads with. The plate underneath is the shared AGPA92 outline, so nothing about fitting changes when you move from one material to another; what changes is how the pad behaves once you have put some heat into it. One caliper takes the two plates that come in the box.
When the Luggage Comes Off
An unladen Adventure flatters its rider. The bike feels light on its wheels, the engine pulls cleanly out of second-gear corners, and within half an hour you are braking later than you would have believed that morning. The front brake notices before you do. Riding hard on a road you know means several firm applications every minute, with only seconds between them, and heat that has nowhere to go builds in the pads and the discs until the lever starts creeping towards the bar. A material drawn for harder road use holds its shape under that treatment. It still helps to give a new set a gentle first outing so that the friction faces marry properly to the discs, and to stop for five minutes halfway through a spirited afternoon and let everything cool. If you then trailer the same bike to an open track day, expect the pads to work harder in one twenty-minute session than in a whole week of commuting, and check them before the second run rather than at the end of the day.
Fitment and Compatibility
This article number is filed under the BMW F900GS Adventure for model years 2024, 2025 and 2026. A pair of front calipers means a pair of boxes for a full change, and the sides should not be split across two sessions. Riders who want a gentler or a harder character will find the same AGPA92 plate in four other materials, while the rear of this F900GS Adventure is covered by the AGPP91 and the DK006 stands in the disc programme for the same bike.
Road Approval
No German ABE exists in our paperwork for the AGPA92EV1, and no other approval document accompanies it. The pads are therefore sold for track and competition riding.
Scope of Delivery
