DescriptionThe whole story▼
An open pitlane day is where a Diavel 1260 S looks least likely and behaves most interestingly. The machine is long and low, it will not be hurried through a chicane, and yet it carries speed down a straight in a way that rearranges a rider's markers within three laps. Accossato's EV1 street/track compound on the AGPA92 plate, article AGPA92EV1, fits the rear wheel of the 1260 S built from 2019 to 2022, and the company positions it for exactly this double life: firm road riding during the week, amateur track sessions at the weekend.
Key Features
- Rear pads for the Ducati Diavel 1260 S, seasons 2019 to 2022
- AGPA92EV1: the EV1 street/track compound pressed on the AGPA92 plate
- Positioned by Accossato for hard road use and amateur circuit work
- Made for a pedal that is worked lap after lap rather than now and then
- The box holds a pair, which is what the rear caliper takes
- OR, ST, EV2 and ZXC are the alternatives on this outline
- Brake discs DK053 and DKS053 exist for the 1260 S as well
- No German ABE documented; a part for racing and track days
Construction and Material Quality
EV1 street/track sits between the road mixtures and the racing ones, and Accossato's description reflects that: grip enough for hard riding on the public road, substance enough for sessions on a circuit reached without a lorry and a set of stands. The compound is the only thing that changes across the AGPA92 range, so these pads drop into the 1260 S exactly as the others do. What a rider notices is the way the pedal keeps its shape as the pace rises, because the first lap and the eighth ask the same question of it.
Learning the Rear Pedal at a Circuit
Riders arriving from the road often discover they use the rear brake more than they believed. On a Diavel 1260 S it becomes a tool for settling the chassis: a light press while the bike is still upright, released as the lean builds, then a touch again on a long exit to keep the front wheel planted. None of it is dramatic and all of it repeats, lap after lap, heating the rear assembly beyond anything the same motorcycle meets on the way to work. That gap is what the EV1 street/track material is drawn to cover.
After the Session
Circuit days show wear faster than commuting does. Look at what is left before loading up rather than in the car park at home, and give the disc a glance for scoring or a blued patch. When the time comes, both pads are replaced together so the caliper is not asked to deal with two ages of material, and the pedal wants pumping before the 1260 S moves again. New faces then like a handful of firm stops in a quiet lane before the next session.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato's data covers the Diavel 1260 S from 2019 to 2022, while the Lamborghini edition and the older Diavel models occupy their own lines in the catalogue. The box holds the pair for the single rear caliper, and riders who book a full weekend often keep a spare set in the van. Discs are catalogued for this bike too, the DK053 and the DKS053, so a worn assembly can be renewed on both counts.
Road Approval
We hold no test certificates for the AGPA92EV1 and no German ABE covers it, which is why it is offered for racing and track use.
