Riders who enjoy hustling their Moto Guzzi MGX-21 through bends know that a well-used rear brake helps a long, heavy bike turn in more calmly. Accossato's AGPA92 rear pad in the EV1 street/track compound is aimed at them. It provides a sharper rear bite than the everyday pads and keeps working when used hard on a quick road or on a track day. Accossato catalogues this pad for the MGX-21 1400 from 2015 to 2021, including the Flying Fortress from 2015 to 2017.

Construction and Material Quality
EV1 is Accossato's compound for riders who mix fast road riding with the occasional circuit session. The manufacturer says it delivers excellent grip in both settings, which means a pad that works from cold and also tolerates the heat of hard use. On the rear of the MGX-21 that translates into a more precise pedal when trimming speed before a corner. Accossato also points to low wear, limited heat and good fade resistance.
Trimming Speed Before a Bend
A long-wheelbase bagger feels more composed when the rider uses a touch of rear brake on corner entry. With EV1, that touch has a clearer effect and is easier to judge. OR and ST are the calmer road alternatives for this plate, while EV2 and ZXC are racing mixtures.
After fitting, pump the pedal until firm and bed the pads in with a series of progressively harder stops. Clean the rear disc with brake cleaner if it has picked up grime or grease.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists AGPA92 for the MGX-21 1400 from 2015 to 2021 and the MGX-21 1400 Flying Fortress from 2015 to 2017. One box fits the single rear caliper. For the front, Accossato supplies AGPA96, catalogued from 2015 to 2017. Check the rear disc for wear and scoring and clean the caliper pistons before installing the new pads.
Road Approval
We have no German ABE or test mark for this rear pad; it is offered for competition use.
