On an MT-03 the standard reservoir is the most obviously cheap part on the bike. LighTech's OBT007 holds 16 cm³: machined aluminium outside, clear plastic inside so the level stays readable. Anodising runs to 8 colours on the OBT007. Fitting it to an MT-03 is a job of minutes, not hours.

Installation
The OBT007 replaces an existing part on the MT-03 rather than adding one. Brake fluid strips paint — cover the MT-03 tank and fairing before you open anything. Instructions are in the box; the MT-03 needs no modification.

This listing covers the Yamaha MT-03, 2015 to 2026. This is not a model-specific casting — LighTech makes one reservoir and lets the mounting decide the fit.
The Case for Billet
A fluid reservoir does two things, and the factory part does only one of them. Billet outside for strength and finish, plastic inside for visibility — that is the whole idea of the OBT007. On the MT-03 the reservoir replaces the original box and nothing else has to move.
Supplied As
The OBT007 arrives as the tank, the cap and the gasket. The part number is all you need to quote for a repeat order on the MT-03.
Sold Separately
The OBT007 is supplied without a bracket. LighTech offers a front bracket (OBT008) and a rear one (OBT009), plus the OBT003 support, and all three are black only. Ask us before ordering and we will match the bracket to your MT-03.
Care and Checks
Brake fluid attacks paint and anodising alike, so wipe spills off the MT-03 immediately. Beyond that the OBT007 asks nothing of you.
Approval Status
Anything in the hydraulic circuit of an MT-03 is safety-relevant by definition. There is no type approval for the OBT007; we say that plainly rather than bury it. For a road-registered MT-03 in Germany, have the installation assessed before you rely on it — and have the system bled and checked by a workshop afterwards.
