Looks and Maintenance at Once
A fluid reservoir does two things, and the factory part does only one of them. Billet outside for strength and finish, plastic inside for visibility — that is the whole idea of the OBT007. On the Panigale 959 the reservoir replaces the original box and nothing else has to move.

Fluid darkens as it absorbs water — on the Panigale 959 that is now visible without tools. Beyond that the OBT007 asks nothing of you.
Fitting
Allow half an hour on the Panigale 959 including bleeding. Brake fluid strips paint — cover the Panigale 959 tank and fairing before you open anything. The original part goes back on the Panigale 959 any time.
What You Also Need
One thing to order alongside: the bracket. The brackets are listed under OBT003, OBT008 and OBT009; they differ in height and projection, not in quality. Tell us where you want it on the Panigale 959 and we will put the right bracket on the order.

The OBT007 arrives as the tank, the cap and the gasket. Packaging carries the reference, so a second order is unambiguous.
Road Use and Approval
Anything in the hydraulic circuit of a Panigale 959 is safety-relevant by definition. We list the OBT007 without an approval claim because LighTech issues none. We would rather you asked your inspection body first than found out at the next test.
