The Shark Aeron Speed-Fancy DWO is built from the ground up with a carbon and aramid fibre shell — a construction philosophy drawn straight from motorsport, where every gram saved and every structural advantage counts. Dressed in its striking white and orange Speed-Fancy livery, this ECE 22.06-certified full-face helmet brings genuine race-grade materials to road and track without compromise.
Key Features
- Carbon and aramid fibre shell delivers exceptional rigidity and impact resistance at a minimum of weight, reducing neck fatigue on long rides and at race pace
- ECE 22.06 certified — the current European homologation standard for motorcycle helmets
- Two shell sizes and four EPS liner sizes ensure a precise aerodynamic fit across the full size range
- Anti-fog and scratch-resistant visor with tear-off compatibility and a visor locking system that prevents unintended opening at high speed
- Morpho-Pads three-dimensional interior padding adapts individually to your head shape for a custom-feeling fit
- Integrated rear spoiler manages airflow over the helmet, reducing lift and keeping the shell planted at speed
Shell Construction & Protection
The choice of carbon and aramid fibres for the Aeron's shell is not cosmetic — it is a structural decision. Carbon contributes stiffness and low weight; aramid adds toughness and energy absorption. Together they produce a shell that is both lighter than conventional composite constructions and more effective at distributing impact forces across the EPS liner. The four EPS liner sizes mean the helmet maintains optimum shell-to-foam geometry whether you wear an XS or an XXL, which directly affects how efficiently the liner can absorb energy in an impact.
Visor & Visibility
The race-spec visor is treated against fogging and scratching, so optical clarity is maintained in cold morning air and on track alike. Tear-off posts are integrated as standard, making the Aeron a ready choice for circuit days without modification. The compact visor locking mechanism keeps the shield sealed against wind pressure at high speed, and the streamlined profile of the mechanism itself contributes to the helmet's overall aerodynamic efficiency.
Interior Comfort & Ventilation
Inside, the Aeron is engineered for riders who spend real time in their helmet. Morpho-Pads conform to individual head geometry, eliminating the pressure points that develop over long stints. The antimicrobial, breathable interior lining is fully removable — cheek pads and ear pads detach independently for washing. Glasses wearers are accommodated by dedicated channels in the cheek pads. An emergency quick-release system on the cheek pads allows first responders to remove the helmet safely after an incident.
Ventilation runs through five inlet ports and seven exhaust outlets. The resulting airflow draws heat away from the crown and chin area efficiently, keeping the interior comfortable whether you are filtering through city traffic or pushing hard on a summer track day.
Aerodynamics & Design
The Speed-Fancy DWO graphic in white and orange is more than a visual statement. The colour blocking follows the helmet's aerodynamic lines, reinforcing the impression of forward motion even at standstill. The integrated rear spoiler is functional rather than decorative: it deflects airflow away from the trailing edge of the shell, reducing the lift forces that cause head buffeting at motorway speeds and beyond. The result is a helmet that feels stable and planted whether you are cruising or at the limit.
