How to measure your helmet size correctly: To find the right helmet size, measure your head circumference with a flexible tape measure.
It is important that the tape measure runs around the widest part of the head – only then will you get a correct result.
Place the tape measure at the front, about 1–2 cm above the eyebrows, and run it along the sides above the ears.
At the back, the tape must run over the largest part of the back of the head (not too low on the neck). The tape may run slightly at an angle – what matters is that it sits all the way around the largest points of the head.
Make sure the tape measure sits snugly but does not dig in. Measure 2–3 times for the most accurate result. You can then compare the measured value in centimetres (cm) with our size chart.
Tips for an accurate result
- Keep hair flat (e.g. do not measure over a voluminous hairstyle)
- Keep the tape horizontal, i.e. along the largest circumference
- Do not measure too loosely
- For values between two sizes:
→ usually choose the larger size (depending on helmet model / fit)
Important note on fit
The right helmet should fit firmly without causing uncomfortable pressure points.
A new helmet may feel a little tighter at first, as the inner lining adapts slightly over time.

Four dedicated shell sizes ensure the ultra-carbon construction is never compromised by excess material, delivering a refined fit and genuinely race-derived rigidity straight from Nolan's MotoGP and Superbike programme.

Build Quality and Materials

The four-shell-size construction means riders across the full size range receive a shell dimensioned specifically for their head circumference rather than a stretched or compressed single mould. The matte Puro 325 finish is a clean, unadorned expression of the raw carbon surface, kept deliberately minimal so the quality of the material itself takes centre stage.
Performance and Comfort
Approved to UNECE 22-06, the current European safety standard, the X-804 RS Ultra Carbon balances protection with a riding weight that reduces fatigue on long stints. The double-D-ring retention system provides secure, consistent fastening, and the removable interior — including the cheek pads and Carbon Fitting inner liner — can be extracted and machine-washed to maintain hygiene through a full season. The helmet accepts a Camel Bag hydration system without modification, a detail serious track riders will appreciate immediately.
