How to measure your helmet size correctly: To find the right helmet size, measure your head circumference with a flexible tape measure.
It is important that the tape measure runs around the widest part of the head – only then will you get a correct result.
Place the tape measure at the front, about 1–2 cm above the eyebrows, and run it along the sides above the ears.
At the back, the tape must run over the largest part of the back of the head (not too low on the neck). The tape may run slightly at an angle – what matters is that it sits all the way around the largest points of the head.
Make sure the tape measure sits snugly but does not dig in. Measure 2–3 times for the most accurate result. You can then compare the measured value in centimetres (cm) with our size chart.
Tips for an accurate result
- Keep hair flat (e.g. do not measure over a voluminous hairstyle)
- Keep the tape horizontal, i.e. along the largest circumference
- Do not measure too loosely
- For values between two sizes:
→ usually choose the larger size (depending on helmet model / fit)
Important note on fit
The right helmet should fit firmly without causing uncomfortable pressure points.
A new helmet may feel a little tighter at first, as the inner lining adapts slightly over time.

Shell and Safety
The R2R's outer shell is formed from ADT thermoplastic, a material chosen for its strong impact resistance and the manageable all-day weight it delivers. Two shell sizes across the XS-to-XXL range mean the helmet is never visually oversized on smaller heads, and the structure always sits correctly in relation to the EPS liner. ECE 22.06 certification confirms the R2R has passed the most current European homologation cycle.
Vision System
A wide field of view is guaranteed by the R2R's large main visor, which is treated to resist scratching and blocks UV radiation up to 380 nm. The central locking mechanism holds it firmly at speed, and swapping to a tinted or photochromic alternative requires no tools whatsoever. The integrated sun visor drops in smoothly via a side-mounted lever, handling bright sun or low-angle light without the rider needing to stop. Every R2R ships with a Pinlock MaxVision 70 anti-fog insert already in the box.
Interior Comfort
Inside, the Hydrocool lining actively draws heat and moisture away from the skin, keeping the environment around the rider's head noticeably fresher than a standard textile liner. The cheek pads are shaped to accommodate glasses arms without pressure points, and cavities are pre-cut to accept intercom speaker pods. The entire lining lifts out for washing. An emergency quick-release system on the cheek pads assists first responders in removing the helmet safely after an incident.
Ventilation
Two large intake vents at the chin and forehead feed air into internal channels that route it across the EPS before exhausting through spoiler-integrated outlets at the rear. The result is a continuous airflow circuit that reduces heat build-up and visor fogging on warm days — a genuine benefit on commutes and extended touring alike.
Closure
The micrometric quick-release buckle is reinforced for longevity and micro-adjustable for a secure, repeatable fit. Its oversized lever makes single-handed operation straightforward even in thick gloves.
