Shell Construction and Safety
The R2R is built around KYT's ADT Advanced Thermoplast shell, a compound chosen for its balance of impact absorption and manageable weight across all-day riding. Two distinct shell sizes cover the full XS-to-XXL size range, which means smaller sizes are not simply padded down from a single large mould — the fit is genuinely tailored. ECE 22.06 certification, the most current European safety standard, is verified at every size.
Visor System
The main visor is treated for scratch resistance and blocks UV radiation up to 380 nm. A central locking mechanism holds it firmly at any chosen position, and tool-free removal makes cleaning or a visor swap at the roadside a matter of seconds. The integrated sun visor drops on command via a side-mounted slider, eliminating the need to carry tinted eyewear for summer riding. The included Pinlock MaxVision 70 lens clips directly to the prepared visor pins and virtually eliminates fogging during cold or wet conditions.
Hydrocool Interior
Inside, the Hydrocool lining draws moisture away from the skin and allows heat to dissipate efficiently — a meaningful difference on longer tours or urban summer commutes. The fabric is soft, fully removable and machine washable. Glasses wearers benefit from shaped channels in the cheek pads that prevent pressure on the arms of spectacle frames, and the emergency quick-release tabs on the cheek pads allow first responders to remove the helmet safely after an incident.
Ventilation
Two generously sized front intake vents feed air through internal channels that run across the crown and exit through a rear spoiler-integrated exhaust. The airflow circuit reduces heat build-up and keeps the interior fresh during spirited riding without creating intrusive noise at motorway speeds.
Retention System
A reinforced micrometric buckle closes and opens with a single hand — practical when suiting up in gloves and reassuringly secure once locked. The adjustment range is wide enough to accommodate varying neck-warmer and balaclava thicknesses across the seasons.

Take out the washable lining and hand-wash it in lukewarm water. Clean the shell and visor with a soft cloth and water only — never solvents.
