How to measure your helmet size correctly: To find the right helmet size, measure your head circumference with a flexible tape measure.
It is important that the tape measure runs around the widest part of the head – only then will you get a correct result.
Place the tape measure at the front, about 1–2 cm above the eyebrows, and run it along the sides above the ears.
At the back, the tape must run over the largest part of the back of the head (not too low on the neck). The tape may run slightly at an angle – what matters is that it sits all the way around the largest points of the head.
Make sure the tape measure sits snugly but does not dig in. Measure 2–3 times for the most accurate result. You can then compare the measured value in centimetres (cm) with our size chart.
Tips for an accurate result
- Keep hair flat (e.g. do not measure over a voluminous hairstyle)
- Keep the tape horizontal, i.e. along the largest circumference
- Do not measure too loosely
- For values between two sizes:
→ usually choose the larger size (depending on helmet model / fit)
Important note on fit
The right helmet should fit firmly without causing uncomfortable pressure points.
A new helmet may feel a little tighter at first, as the inner lining adapts slightly over time.

Shell and Structure
KYT's ADT Advanced Thermoplast construction delivers an excellent balance between impact resistance, flexibility and low mass — qualities that matter when you are wearing a helmet for hours at a stretch. The R2R is produced in two shell sizes so that a size XS and a size XXL are proportionally correct rather than simply stretched or compressed from a single mould. Two shell sizes also allow the internal EPS liner to be optimised per size group, keeping protection geometry consistent regardless of which size you choose.
Optics and Visibility
The visor system on the R2R has been designed for genuinely all-condition riding. The scratch-resistant outer visor provides UV380 protection and snaps into a central locking position that eliminates flutter at speed. Swapping visors requires no tools, making a clear-to-tinted change at the roadside entirely practical. The integrated sun visor is deployed via a side lever and retracts cleanly out of the field of view when not needed. Paired with the included Pinlock MaxVision 70 insert — one of the larger Pinlock formats available — fogging is effectively eliminated in cold or damp conditions, giving you uninterrupted forward vision.
Interior Comfort
The Hydrocool interior liner draws moisture away from the skin rapidly, keeping the environment inside the helmet cool and fresh on warm days and during sustained effort in traffic. The padding is removable and fully washable, speaker pockets are pre-cut to accommodate intercom systems, and the cheek pads are shaped to accommodate glasses frames without pressure. An emergency quick-release system in the cheek pads allows first responders to remove the helmet safely should it ever be necessary.
Ventilation
Two large front air intakes channel fresh air through internal ducting across the EPS liner and up to the top of the helmet, with a rear spoiler section directing exhausted air efficiently away from the shell. The result is a noticeable reduction in fogging and heat build-up — an important consideration for sport riders and daily commuters who spend extended time in the saddle.
Retention
A micrometric quick-release buckle closes and opens cleanly even with gloves on, removing the fiddling associated with traditional D-ring systems while maintaining a secure, consistent fit every time you ride.

The KYT R2R Parsec White/Red is available in sizes XS through XXL. Measure your head circumference just above the eyebrows and use the table below to select your size. If you fall between two sizes, KYT recommends choosing the larger of the two.
