The Audax D-ZIP uses a multi-layer armour strategy that covers every primary impact zone. Composite Level 2 armour sits at the shoulders, elbows and knees, absorbing peak impact energy efficiently. Pro-Shape 2.0 Level 1 protectors at the hips provide flexible coverage without bulking out the silhouette.

The floating racing shoulder construction incorporates an exchangeable aluminium plate that minimises friction during a slide. Exchangeable aluminium and steel plates at the knees and elbows resist sudden rotational forces — the kind that cause the most serious injuries in track crashes. RSS 4.0 elbow and knee sliders are also user-replaceable and individually adjustable, so you can set them precisely to your riding style and replace worn items without returning the suit for service.

Ergonomics and Airflow

The dual zip entry is designed around the needs of a sports rider in an aggressive tuck. By routing the zips to either side of the torso rather than straight down the centre, the suit allows the upper body to mould flush against the tank — a detail borrowed directly from professional racing. Elastic performance wrist and neck constructions extend this freedom of movement to the extremities, eliminating pressure points during long stints.

An aerodynamic spoiler at the back improves airflow stability at speed without adding unwanted drag. The Boot-IN System is designed for use with Dainese motorcycle boots and is confirmed compatible with the Dainese AXIAL 2. Calf zip entry on each leg makes the suit straightforward to pull on and off, even when wearing race boots. A dedicated D-air connector port is absent — this is the non-D-air version of the Audax suit.
