DescriptionThe whole story▼
Accossato's fitment list for the Multistrada 1200 S reads like a history of the model: Sport, Touring, GT, Pikes Peak and D-Air versions, built between 2011 and 2018 and sold in markets from the USA to Thailand and Brazil. For all of them, Accossato makes the same replacement footpeg. The FT102 touring footpegs for the Multistrada 1200 S are CNC-machined aluminium, anodised black with a red insert, and come as front or rear sets with a notch for boot grip.
Key Features
- Touring footpegs for the Ducati Multistrada 1200 S, 2011–2018
- Listed for S Sport, S Touring, S GT, Pikes Peak and D-Air versions
- CNC-machined aluminium, anodised black
- Red insert
- Grip notch for the boot
- Front (rider) and rear (passenger) sets sold separately
- No German ABE on record; for track use
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato machines the FT102 from aluminium on CNC equipment. The pegs are anodised black and carry a red insert, and each has a notch that Accossato describes as increasing the grip of the rider's boot. The same description applies to the front and the rear pegs, which are sold as separate sets under one part number. There is nothing complicated about the FT102; its value lies in the grip and in a finish that looks at home on a Ducati.
Front, Rear or Both
The front pegs carry the rider. They take your weight when you stand, your feet rest on them through every corner, and they set the relationship between your boots and the gear lever and brake pedal. If you want the grip of the notch for yourself, the front set is the one to order. The rear pegs belong to the passenger, and on a Multistrada 1200 S used for touring two-up, the passenger spends as many hours on them as you do on yours. Ordering both gives rider and passenger the same grip and makes all four pegs match, which many owners appreciate on a bike finished with this much care. A practical tip: if you are replacing pegs because the originals are worn or damaged, inspect their mounting points at the same time. Worn mounts make any footpeg feel loose, however well it is made.
Fitment and Compatibility
On Accossato's list the FT102 covers the Multistrada 1200 S from 2011 to 2018: the S Sport and S Touring from 2011, the Pikes Peak from 2012, the S GT of 2013 and 2014, D-Air versions of 2016 and 2017, and bikes for the US, Thai and Brazilian markets, with Thai and Brazilian versions listed into 2018. A workshop should fit the pegs, tighten them to Ducati's values with thread locker as specified, and check the gear lever and brake pedal positions.
Road Approval
There is no German ABE or Teilegutachten on record for the FT102. We sell the footpegs for track use; for riding on public roads in Germany, keep the approved original pegs.
