DescriptionThe whole story▼
For the Zero SR of 2015 to 2017, Accossato produces the AGPA92 front pad in Sintered (ST) compound. It suits riders who use their SR through every season and often beyond town: long rides over hills, days in the rain and trips with a passenger. The sintered mix is designed to keep its grip level steady in heat and cold and to work reliably on wet roads.
Key Features
- Front pad AGPA92 for the Zero SR 2015-2017
- ZF12.5 and ZF13.0 versions per Accossato
- Sintered (ST) compound
- Constant grip at high and low temperatures, says Accossato
- Reliable on wet roads
- Other versions of this pad: OR, EV1, EV2, ZXC
- Two pads per box
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato states that its sintered compound maintains a high, constant level of grip at both high and low temperatures, and grips well in the wet. On a powerful electric naked bike ridden in all conditions, that stability gives the rider confidence at the lever. The company also designs its pads to limit heat build-up and to wear slowly, which reduces fade on long descents.
Hill Roads in Changing Weather
A day out on the Zero SR might start on a damp valley road, climb into the hills and finish on dry, warm tarmac. Each change in conditions affects how a brake pad behaves. The sintered mix is designed to smooth out those differences, so the lever keeps its feel from start to finish. On descents, the motor's regeneration helps, but the front pads do the decisive work before each bend. Before a long ride, check the pad thickness and the brake fluid, and keep the disc clean. After riding in the wet, rinse the caliper and let it dry.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists AGPA92 for the front of the Zero SR ZF12.5 from 2015 and the ZF13.0 from 2016 to 2017. For later SR models, 2019 to 2022 and 2024, the front pad is AGPA96. The rear pad for the SR is AGPP91. Fit both pads together, clean the pistons before pushing them back and pump the lever until it is firm.
Road Approval
Accossato has not provided us with any approval paperwork or German ABE, so these pads are sold for sport and competition.
Scope of Delivery
Two sintered pads for one front caliper.
