DescriptionThe whole story▼
Accossato's catalogue offers the AGPA92 front pad for the 2015 to 2017 Zero DS in no fewer than five materials, and the EV2 racing compound is the most competition-minded of the non-ceramic ones. The company calls it a top racing compound. On an electric dual-sport this is a specialist choice, for owners who have converted their DS for closed-circuit use, perhaps on road tyres at a kart track, and who brake hard and repeatedly during timed sessions.
Key Features
- Front brake pads for the Zero DS, 2015 to 2017
- Covers the ZF9.4, ZF9.8, ZF12.5 and ZF13.0 versions

- A top racing material, according to Accossato
- Made for repeated hard stops in timed sessions
- Two pads per box for one caliper
- No German ABE on file; for competition use
Construction and Material Quality
EV2 is Accossato's racing material, described by the company in a single phrase as a top racing compound. In the AGPA92 it gives the older DS a front pad built for heavy, repeated braking on a closed course, with the fade resistance and long life that Accossato aims for across its range. OR, ST, EV1 and ZXC versions of the same shape are also catalogued. The box contains two pads for a single caliper.
A Circuit-Prepared DS
Converting a dual-sport for track use usually means changing tyres first, because knobbly or dual-purpose rubber limits grip on tarmac. Once the tyres can take harder braking, the pads become the next step. A racing compound is designed for the heat and load of timed laps, when the rider brakes at the same marker again and again. For fast road riding or a first track day, the EV1 version is more appropriate.
Session Checks
Before going out, check pad thickness, disc condition and the brake fluid. Bleed the system if the lever feels soft. After fitting new pads, pump the lever until firm and bed them in on the out lap before braking at full effort.
Fitment and Compatibility
Whatever battery your older DS carries, whether the 2015 ZF9.4 or ZF12.5 or the 2016 to 2017 ZF9.8 or ZF13.0, this pad shape is the one Accossato names for its front caliper. A track conversion that keeps the original caliper keeps that fitment. Owners of the 2024 ZF17.3 bike need the AGPA96 instead. For the back wheel, the catalogue gives the AGPP91 up to 2017 and the AGPA29 on the 2024 machine. Each box equips a single caliper.
Road Approval
We hold no German ABE or approval evidence for this pad. It is sold for racing and closed-course use.
Scope of Delivery
