Adventure bikes race more often than people assume. Rally events, long-distance road competitions and twin-cylinder classes all attract machines of this weight, and an F800GS built for one of them stops from serious speed again and again in a single day. Accossato fills the AGPA92 shape with its EV2 racing compound for that work, describing it plainly as the racing material of the range, and lists the pad for the BMW F800GS from 2008 to 2018.

Construction and Material Quality
The manufacturer's note on this compound is one line long and calls it the racing choice, so that is where we leave it. What lies behind such a specification is a narrow brief: the front brake has to deliver the same effect at the end of a session as at the beginning, with everything in the system running far hotter than a road ride would ever make it. That comes at the cost of the easy manners a commuting pad offers, which is why Accossato keeps several other fillings for the same backing. Pads are packed in pairs, one pair for each caliper.
Weight, Speed and the End of a Straight
A heavy bike converts a great deal of energy into heat every time it slows from high speed, and an adventure machine carries frontal area as well, so the effort at the end of a long straight is considerable. Riders who race one learn to treat the brake as a component with a service schedule rather than a fitting. Bed new pads in deliberately before an event, check the remaining material between heats rather than at the end of the day, and watch the fluid level as an indicator of how fast the pads are going. If the lever feel changes during a session, come in; brakes give warning, and ignoring it rarely ends well. Between events, clean the calipers properly so the pistons move evenly and the pads wear across their whole face.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato assigns the AGPA92 to the front wheel of the BMW F800GS for the model years 2008 to 2018. One box serves one caliper, and a competition bike is better off with a spare set in the van than with a fresh order halfway through a weekend. The rear wheel of the same machine takes the AGPP91 pad across the identical years. No Accossato disc is catalogued for the F800GS, so the standard friction rings stay in service.
Road Approval
Approval papers for the AGPA92EV2 have never been supplied to us and no German ABE exists for it. The pad is sold for racing and closed-course use, in line with Accossato's own intention.
