DescriptionThe whole story▼
Club sport collects unlikely machines. Twin cup grids, short circuits and hillclimb entry lists are full of bikes that never featured in a racing programme, and a well-sorted F700GS in the hands of someone who has learned the braking zones will embarrass faster company on the way into a slow corner. For riders doing that, Accossato fills the AGPA92 shape with the EV2 racing compound, which the company describes simply as its top racing material, and the listing covers the BMW F700GS of 2013 to 2018.
Key Features
- AGPA92EV2, front pads in the EV2 racing compound
- For the BMW F700GS, model years 2013 to 2018
- Accossato's racing material, aimed at competition rather than commuting
- Intended for hard, repeated stops during a timed session
- One box holds two pads and fills one caliper
- The same outline is available in quieter materials for road use
- Rear wheel of this bike: the AGPP91 pad, catalogued 2013 to 2016
- No German ABE on record; sold for competition only
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato does not decorate its description of this mixture. It is the racing material of the range, and the job it is asked to do is narrow: give the same answer at the lever on the last lap of a session as on the second, when everything in the front end has been hot for a quarter of an hour. Away from a circuit such a specification buys you little, which is why the catalogue keeps gentler versions of the same outline alongside it. What arrives is a pair of pads in one box, the amount one caliper on the F700GS accepts.
Qualifying and the Last Metres
A timed session is won and lost where the bike slows down. Riders chasing a number get greedy at the end of the straight, grab the lever later than the lap before, then run wide and lose everything they gained through the corner that follows. The useful approach is the opposite one: hold your marker, work on releasing the lever smoothly as the bike turns in, and only then move the marker, by a bike length at a time. Keep an eye on the lever travel across the session as well, since a pedal or lever that creeps closer to the bar as the laps go by is telling you something about heat in the system. Between outings, let the front wheel sit still rather than rolling the bike back and forth with hot pads clamped against the disc.
Fitment and Compatibility
The application list gives the AGPA92 for the front wheel of the BMW F700GS built between 2013 and 2018. A single box serves one caliper, so count what sits behind your front wheel before ordering, and remember that a race bike usually wants a spare set in the van anyway. Accossato's rear pad for the same machine is the AGPP91, whose own listing ends in 2016. The company does not catalogue a disc for this model.
Road Approval
There is no approval documentation for the AGPA92EV2 in our files, and no German ABE exists for it. The pad is sold for racing and closed-course riding, which is also the use Accossato intends for it.
Scope of Delivery
