DescriptionThe whole story▼
Accossato's AGPA92 in EV2 racing compound is the choice for a Zero DSR from 2016 or 2017 that has been turned into a competition machine, for example in an electric racing series or a club endurance event. The ZF13.0 DSR is not a typical race bike, which makes the people who race it all the more deliberate about their parts. EV2 is the compound Accossato positions at the top of its racing range, built for repeated hard stops, qualifying laps and heavy braking zones.
Key Features
- AGPA92 front pads for Zero DSR 2016-2017 (ZF13.0)
- EV2 racing compound, described by Accossato as a top race mix
- Made for hard braking points lap after lap
- Suited to qualifying and timed sessions
- Designed to limit heat and fade under heavy use
- This pad also comes as OR, ST, EV1 and ZXC
- Two pads per box for one caliper
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato calls EV2 a top racing compound. It is formulated for the temperatures and loads of racing, where the pad has to deliver high stopping power on every lap without losing consistency. The company's general claims also apply: slow wear, restricted heat build-up and therefore less fading when sessions get long. On the road, before the pad reaches working temperature, it can feel less friendly than an everyday mixture.
Race Weekend Routine
On a race weekend the pads have to perform from the first practice to the last lap of the final. Fit fresh EV2 pads before the event, bed them in during the first practice session and note how the lever feels once they are up to temperature. Between sessions, check pad thickness and look for glazing on the disc. For a DSR used in competition, a torque wrench, fresh brake fluid and clean calipers are part of the routine. After the weekend, inspect everything again before the bike goes back into the van.
Fitment and Compatibility
According to Accossato, AGPA92 fits the front caliper of the Zero DSR ZF13.0, 2016 and 2017. For the 2023 DSR ZF17.3-X the front pad is AGPA96. Rear options are AGPP91 for the early bike and AGPA29 for 2023. Change both pads of an axle together and pump the brake lever to restore pressure before rolling out of the pit.
Road Approval
Without any approval documents or German ABE available to us, this pad is sold for race and competition use.
