Fünf SHARP-Sterne — und welcher Glamster sie verdient hat
🟢 SHARP prüft nicht die Zulassung — die hat der Helm ohnehin — sondern wie viel Energie beim Kopf ankommt. Fünf von fünf Sternen sind das Resultat für den Glamster06, ermittelt im Mai 2025 an einem im Handel gekauften Exemplar mit 1,3 kg.
🔵 Der ältere Glamster hat einen separaten Eintrag mit vier Sternen.
Zur Abiding-Grafik TC-10
Einfarbige Zeichnungen altern am besten, und der Grund ist einfach: Farben veralten, Tonwerte nicht. Eine Ausführung in Grau und Silber enthält keinen Verweis auf eine bestimmte Saison, keine Modefarbe und keine Kombination, die in fünf Jahren datiert wirkt. Bei einem Helm, dessen Gestaltung ohnehin zeitlos angelegt ist, ist das die konsequenteste aller Grafikentscheidungen. 🟢 Dazu kommt der Alterungsvorteil im Wortsinn: Einfarbige Familien bleichen gleichmäßig aus. Wo eine bunte Grafik nach fünf Sommern ein Ungleichgewicht zeigt, weil ein Pigment schneller nachlässt als das andere, verblasst hier alles im selben Maß — was optisch kaum auffällt. Und Silberanteile bringen eine gerichtete Reflexion mit, die bei Scheinwerferlicht in der Dämmerung tatsächlich etwas beiträgt. 🔵 Zur Sichtbarkeit am Tag trägt die Zeichnung dagegen wenig bei; maßgeblich ist die Helligkeit des Grundtons, nicht das Muster darauf. AIM, drei Schalen, Doppel-D und EQRS
🟢 Ein Detail, das im Datenblatt untergeht: Das EPS ist mehrdichtig aufgebaut. Weichere Bereiche nehmen kleine Energien auf, härtere die großen — statt eines Kompromisses für alles gibt es zwei Kennlinien in einem Helm.
Darüber liegt die AIM-Schale in drei Größen, gehalten von einem Doppel-D-Ring, ergänzt um das EQRS.
Das CPB-1V-Visier — und die Sonnenblende, die nicht da ist
Ein rundes Visier auf einem runden Helm klingt selbstverständlich und ist es nicht: Die meisten Retro-Helme übernehmen eine moderne Visierform und brechen damit ihre eigene Silhouette. Das CPB-1V folgt der Kontur der Schale.
🟢 Gewechselt wird werkzeuglos; die Pinlock®-EVO-Scheibe ist im Lieferumfang (DKS056).
🔵 Keine Sonnenblende.
Ein Einlass, Aluminiumgitter, keine Schieber
🟢 Der Auslass am Nacken nutzt den Unterdruck, der sich hinter dem Helm bildet. Das ist effizienter als zusätzliche Öffnungen und erzeugt weniger Geräusch, weil keine weitere Kante im Fahrtwind steht — bei einem Helm ohne Spoiler die einzig stimmige Lösung.
Vorn stehen ein regelbarer Stirneinlass und zwei feste Kinneinlässe hinter Aluminiumgitter.
Innenraum, Passform und Brillen
🟢 Die intermediate-oval-Kopfform ist Shoeis Standard und trifft die Mehrzahl der europäischen Köpfe — etwas länger als rund, etwas breiter als schmal. Wer bisher mit Shoei zurechtkam, wird auch hier zurechtkommen.
Feinabstimmung läuft über Polster in mehreren Stärken; der Helm ist brillentauglich.
🔵 Für ein Interkom ist er nicht vorbereitet.
Wie laut er tatsächlich ist
🟢 Der Dauertest ist bei der Geräuschbewertung aussagekräftiger als eine kurze Ausfahrt: Was nach zwanzig Minuten kaum auffällt, ermüdet nach zwei Stunden. MOTORCYCLE NEWS kam über Monate auf 4 von 5.
🔵 Der fehlende fünfte Punkt hat einen konstruktiven Grund: keine Spoiler, keine Nackenverkleidung, eine runde Form.
Rund 1300 Gramm — und der Rest der ehrlichen Liste
🔵 Für Vielfahrer auf der Autobahn ist dieser Helm nicht die erste Wahl: Ohne Sonnenblende, ohne Interkom-Vorbereitung und mit einem Geräuschniveau hinter den Tourenmodellen fehlt ihm genau das, was lange Etappen erträglich macht.
🟢 Für Ausfahrten, Stadt und Landstraße ist er dafür einer der schönsten und mit SHARP 5/5 einer der sichersten Helme am Markt.
Wo er im Shoei-Programm steht
🟢 Der Glamster06 ist der Nachfolger des Glamster und unterscheidet sich von ihm an mehreren Stellen: neu konstruierter Visiermechanismus, ECE 22.06 statt 22.05 — und fünf statt vier SHARP-Sternen.
Im aktuellen Programm ist er Shoeis einziger Neo-Retro-Integralhelm.
Wenn etwas verschleißt
Auch der Kinnriemenbezug steht einzeln in der Liste — ein Teil, das man bei anderen Herstellern gar nicht bekommt und das bei regelmäßiger Nutzung als Erstes unansehnlich wird.
