Jaggo Carbon White Silver brings the spotted Jaggo graphic to the light end of the palette: white and pale silver panels, grey rosettes, and plenty of glossy carbon left exposed between them. It is part of the first range of the Nexx X.R5R, a carbon racing full-face released on 27 October 2026. You get around 1,325 grams in the M shell, thirteen ventilation openings, a race-lock visor and a spoiler that extends by hand. Approved to ECE 22.06, available in XS to XXL.

About the White Silver finish

On the official side view, a white field wraps the chin bar and the lower cheek, a silver-grey band follows the visor opening and the brow, and a white flash reaches up the back of the shell. The rosette print appears in soft greys over the white and in darker smoke over the bare weave of the crown and the spoiler, which keeps the pattern visible on every surface without shouting. The R emblem on top is silver, with a small X-PRO Carbon script beside it in a fine turquoise line, and the Nexx lettering runs down the side in silver. This is the only Jaggo shown with a mirrored visor, a bright silver one, which suits the colourway well. Day to day, white and silver are the most forgiving tones when it comes to fine scratches, since light-coloured paint hides swirl marks that would show on black. Bugs and rubber marks, on the other hand, are easy to see, so a damp microfibre cloth after each ride is the best habit. Nexx does not specify matt or gloss for the coloured areas.

Hot days: a light shell and thirteen openings

White Silver is the natural choice for riders who spend summer weekends on track. A pale surface reflects more of the sun than a dark one, so the shell warms up more slowly while you wait in the pit lane. Once moving, the X.R5R ventilates through eight intakes and five exhausts. The top and chin intakes can be closed, the cheek pads have air channels, and an Air Cumbs chamber in the liner spreads the cool air over the scalp. The result should be a helmet that stays comfortable longer on a hot day than a dark race helmet with fewer vents.

Carbon shell, 1,325 g

Our supplier's price list places Jaggo in the X-Matrix 2 range at 1,475 g. Nexx, the manufacturer, lists Jaggo as X-PRO Carbon, the shell carries the X-PRO Carbon script and the carbon weave is plainly visible. We go by Nexx. That means approx. 1,325 g ± 50 g in the M shell, which takes noticeable load off your neck in a tuck and under hard braking, especially towards the end of a long day.

The visor and that silver mirror

The X.R5R uses a compact Recoil visor mechanism with three intermediate positions and an X-Race lock that keeps the visor closed at high speed. Tear-off posts are prepared, a tear-off set is not part of the package. The silver mirror visor in the photo is how Nexx styled this decor; whether it is the one fitted on delivery is not documented. Mirrored and tinted visors are meant for daylight, so ride with a clear visor at dusk and at night. The anti-fog insert specified for the carbon X.R5R is the Pinlock 200 XLT MaxVision.

Stability at speed

Two elements keep the helmet calm at high speed. The visor lock prevents the shield from lifting, and the rear spoiler can be lengthened by up to 20 mm using an extensor that slides in without tools. On a superbike, with your helmet low behind the bubble, the longer spoiler can help the air leave the shell cleanly. Upright on the road, the standard length is usually the better compromise.

Inside the helmet

The interior follows Nexx's 360° Custom Fit concept, with pads that can be exchanged to fine-tune the fit around the head and jaw. The X-Mart Dry fabric is removable and washable, which is worth doing regularly in summer. Nexx's manual confirms the helmet is suitable for glasses wearers.

Shell sizes

Four shells cover the size range: XXS-S, M, L and XL-XXL. With separate shells for M and L, the helmet keeps a compact silhouette in the most common sizes. We offer XS to XXL; Nexx also produces an XXS. To choose, wrap a tape measure around your head about a finger's width above the eyebrows and over the widest point at the back, then compare with the size chart linked on this page. A new race helmet should feel snug, with firm cheek-pad contact; the padding beds in over the first few hours of riding. If you sit exactly on the line between two sizes, the exchangeable pads give some room to adjust after purchase.

Practical racing kit

The chin carries a 360° action-camera mount with four locking positions. Straps for an X-Hidro hydration tube are integrated, and the shell is prepared for a universal intercom. The strap closes with a double D-ring, in light Peraluman on the carbon versions, with a magnetic X-Lock holder for the loose end. Emergency cheek-pad release and reflectors complete the safety details.

ECE 22.06

The X.R5R carries ECE 22.06, mandatory for new helmets sold in the EU since 2024. The standard tests the shell at many points and several speeds, includes oblique impacts on an abrasive anvil to measure rotational loads, and checks the visor in more detail. Nexx lists other national approvals too; for European roads, ECE is the relevant one.

Who should choose something else

Riders who want a built-in sun visor should look at a sport-touring model, because the X.R5R has none. Racers in series that require an FIM racing certificate need a different helmet: Nexx marks the FIM racing standard with a cross for this decor. As the model is new, there are no SHARP stars and no independent noise measurements yet. Visors, Pinlocks and spoiler parts from the X.R3R do not fit.
