The EVO Upgrade Over the RX-7V
The move from RX-7V to RX-7V Evo was driven in part by the stricter requirements of ECE R22-06, but Arai used the opportunity to refine several key areas. The cheek pads have been redesigned with relocated lateral air channels that now run behind the pad rather than through it, resulting in a cleaner aerodynamic profile and more direct airflow management. The interior liner has been upgraded to Eco Pure material — a softer, more breathable fabric that performs better across long riding sessions and washes without losing shape. The VAS MAX Vision visor, already praised on the original RX-7V, is retained and continues to offer Pinlock-ready preparation as standard fitment.
