The Evo designation reflects a genuine engineering step forward from the original RX-7V. Recertification under ECE R22-06 — the most demanding European helmet standard in force — drove meaningful updates: the cheek-pad architecture was revised, with the lateral ventilation channels relocated to the rear of the pad to reduce pressure points and improve interior airflow management.
