DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Ducati Panigale V2 890 stops with two discs at the front, and Accossato offers two different replacements for them. The DKS053 is the one with a 5.5 mm friction ring and a fully specified fixing pattern: five holes of 8.5 mm on a 90 mm hole circle, around a 72 mm centre. Accossato describes it as interchangeable with the original discs and lists it for the Panigale V2 890 of 2025 and 2026. Ring and black carrier are joined by rivets, so the disc floats.

Construction and Material Quality
The DKS053 pairs a 320 mm friction ring with a black carrier that bolts to the wheel through five holes. The ring is held on rivets that leave it a little room to move as temperatures change, so heat does not have to be absorbed by a rigid disc. Accossato says its experience in Superbike, Moto2 and Moto3 flows into the design and the materials of discs like this, and that the play between carrier and ring has been studied in depth. A minimum working thickness is printed on the disc, as on every Accossato disc.
Five Holes on a 90 mm Circle
Accossato publishes more dimensions for this disc than for many others, and they are worth using. Before ordering, look at a disc fitted to your Panigale V2 890: count the bolts that hold it and compare the centre opening and the spacing of the bolt holes with the figures above. Five holes of 8.5 mm on a 90 mm circle and a 72 mm centre are the fixing data for the DKS053. If your bike shows a different pattern, stop there and contact us before anything is taken apart.
The fitting itself is straightforward for a careful owner with the right tools. Support the bike securely, remove the front wheel and undo the disc bolts in a cross pattern. Clean the hub face so that no dirt or old thread-locker is trapped between hub and carrier, since even a small particle can make the new disc run out of true. Tighten the bolts in stages and in a cross pattern to the value in Ducati's service manual, using thread-locker if the manual calls for it. Repeat on the other side, then check that the wheel turns without either disc rubbing.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the DKS053 for the Panigale V2 890 from 2025 to 2026. It is priced per disc, and the front wheel of the Panigale V2 890 takes two. The other Accossato front disc for this bike is the DK053, which has a thinner ring.
Road Approval
The DKS053 comes without a documented German ABE or type approval and is offered for circuit and competition riding.
