Drei Modi in einer Schale
🟢 Ein Helm, der drei Modi beherrscht, ist in keinem davon perfekt — das ist die ehrliche Einordnung. Er ist lauter als ein Straßenhelm, schwerer als ein Cross-Helm und weniger geschützt gegen Staub als eine reine Brillenlösung.
Dafür ersetzt er beide, und der Umbau ist werkzeuglos.
Zum vollflächigen Carbongewebe
Ohne jede Lackfläche zeigt dieser Helm nur eines: das Material. Für manche ist das der einzige ehrliche Umgang mit Kohlefaser — man bezahlt für einen Werkstoff und sieht ihn auch. Für andere fehlt genau das, was einen Rallye-Helm ausmacht: eine Startnummernfläche, ein Farbfeld, irgendetwas, das ihn von zwanzig anderen unterscheidet. Beides ist eine legitime Haltung, und zwischen ihnen entscheidet kein Argument, sondern Geschmack. 🔵 Zwei praktische Punkte, die man vor dem Kauf abwägen sollte. Erstens die Auffälligkeit im Gelände: Ein durchgehend dunkler Helm ist auf einer Piste aus der Ferne schwer auszumachen — bei einer Gruppenfahrt oder im Notfall zählt das mehr als auf der Straße. Zweitens der Wiederverkauf: Neutrale Fassungen ohne Grafik altern gestalterisch am langsamsten und finden später leichter einen Käufer als eine ausgeprägte Lackierung. 🟢 Konstruktiv unterscheidet sich diese Ausführung von keiner anderen: dieselbe Schale, dieselben X-Foam-Puffer, dieselbe Optik im Karton, dieselbe Zulassung. Was fehlt, ist ausschließlich Farbe.
Die X-PRO-Carbon-Schale und die X-Foam-Puffer
🟢 Die X-PRO-Carbon-Schale ist die leichtere der beiden Varianten dieses Modells — auf dem Papier. 🔵 Eine unabhängige Wiegung ergab allerdings einen deutlich höheren Wert als die Herstellerangabe; dazu unten mehr.
Gefertigt wird sie in drei Außenschalengrößen, mit X-Foam-EPP an der Unterschale.
Das Recoil-Visier und die zwei Scheiben im Karton
🔵 Der X.RALLY hat keine innenliegende Sonnenblende. Das ist beim Vergleich mit anderen Adventure-Helmen der wichtigste Unterschied — und er ist gewollt: Der Bauraum geht an die Belüftung.
🟢 Ersatz ist das mitgelieferte photochrome Visier, das stufenlos abdunkelt.
Neun Einlässe — und zwei Tests, die sich widersprechen
🟢 Bei einem Helm mit neun Einlässen ist die Frage nicht, ob Luft hineinkommt, sondern ob sie über die Kopfhaut geführt wird. Dafür sind die mittlere Luftkammer und die Air-Cumbs-Kammer zuständig.
🔵 Ein Test hielt das für unzureichend (2/5), ein anderer für hervorragend.
Wie laut er wirklich ist
🟢 Die Einlässe sind verschließbar, und das ist auch akustisch relevant: Geschlossen erzeugen sie weniger Verwirbelung als offen. Auf der Autobahnetappe lohnt es sich, sie zuzumachen.
🔵 Gemessen wurden mit montiertem Schirm 103 dB, Note 3/5.
Innenraum, Trinkschlauchführung und Passform
🟢 Das Innenfutter ist der Teil des Helms, mit dem Sie dauerhaft Kontakt haben. Beim X.RALLY ist es ein 3D-Netzgewebe, das gegen Staub und Sand abschirmt, ergänzt um die X-HIDRO-Wangenpolster mit Trinkschlauchführung.
Der Komfort wurde mit 3,5/5 bewertet, die Passform als größengetreu.

🔵 Nicht bestätigt ist hier die freundlichste Formulierung, die zutrifft: Nexx nennt 1350 g, die Waage 1553 g. Beide Zahlen stehen auf dieser Seite, weil eine allein irreführen würde.
🟢 Real liegt der Helm damit im Bereich seiner Wettbewerber.
Wo er steht — und wer etwas anderes kaufen sollte
