Drei Modi in einer Schale
🟢 Drei Modi aus einer Schale: Dual-Sport, Off-Road, On-Road. Das ist der Kern dieses Helms, und er unterscheidet ihn von reinen Adventure-Helmen, die nur zwei Konfigurationen können.
Alle Umbauten sind werkzeuglos — am Straßenrand machbar, ohne dass ein Werkzeug im Gepäck sein muss.
Zum weißen Glanzfinish
Ein Rallye-Helm verbringt einen erheblichen Teil seines Lebens im normalen Verkehr, auch wenn er fürs Gelände gebaut ist — die Anfahrt zur Piste ist meistens länger als die Piste. Deshalb zählt Helligkeit hier genauso wie bei einem Straßenhelm. Ein Autofahrer, der an einer Einmündung wartet, tastet auf Windschutzscheibenhöhe ab, und genau dort sitzt Ihr Kopf: über dem Scheinwerfer, in Bewegung vor einem stehenden Hintergrund. Je heller dieses Objekt ist, desto früher wird es erfasst, und der Vorsprung ist bei flachem, bedecktem Licht am größten. 🟢 Dazu ein Wärmeargument, das bei einem Helm mit umstrittener Belüftung besonders wiegt: Eine weiße Schale reflektiert Sonnenlast, die eine dunkle in Wärme im Innenfutter umwandelt. Im Gelände, wo langsam gefahren wird und kaum Fahrtwind entsteht, ist das kein Nebenaspekt. 🔵 Der Preis ist die Pflege — Weiß zeigt Insektenreste, Staub und Straßenfilm deutlich, gibt sie als Glanzlack aber leichter wieder her als Matt. Zur Einordnung: Acht der 21 Ausführungen tragen die Glasfaserschale, dreizehn die Carbonschale. Ausstattung und Zulassung sind bei allen identisch; unterschiedlich sind Preis, Lack und — laut Datenblatt — das Gewicht. Nexx fertigt in Portugal; Futter, Polster und Visiere lassen sich später einzeln erneuern.
Die X-Matrix2-Schale und die X-Foam-Puffer
🟢 Die X-Foam-EPP-Puffer sind hier großzügiger verbaut als bei den Schwestermodellen: Sie decken die komplette untere Schale ab, nicht nur das Kinn. EPP ist rückstellend — es federt nach einer Verformung wieder auf, anders als EPS.
Die Schale darüber ist sechslagiges X-Matrix2 in drei Außenschalengrößen.
Das Recoil-Visier und die zwei Scheiben im Karton
🟢 Pinlock® 200 XLT ist die höchste Antibeschlagstufe, die Pinlock anbietet — deutlich über der üblichen 70er-Scheibe. XLT steht für die größere Bauform, MaxVision dafür, dass sie bis an den Rand des Sichtfelds reicht.
Dazu liegt ein photochromes Visier im Karton, das selbsttätig abdunkelt.
Neun Einlässe — und zwei Tests, die sich widersprechen
🔵🔵 Die Belüftung ist der umstrittenste Punkt dieses Helms. Neun Einlässe stehen im Datenblatt; ein Test vergab dafür 2 von 5, ein zweiter sprach von Durchzug „wie bei einem Jethelm“.
Beide Urteile stehen hier nebeneinander, weil beide veröffentlicht sind — und weil wir nicht wissen, welches Ihr Fahrprofil trifft.
Wie laut er wirklich ist
Ein Rallye-Helm ist bauartbedingt lauter als ein Straßenhelm, weil Schirm und neun Lufteinlässe den Luftstrom aufbrechen. 🔵 Beim X.RALLY ergab die Messung 103 dB und die Note 3/5.
🟢 Der On-Road-Modus ohne Schirm ist die wirksamste Gegenmaßnahme, die Sie selbst haben.
Innenraum, Trinkschlauchführung und Passform
🟢 X-HIDRO ist die interessanteste Ausstattung im Innenraum: Die Wangenpolster sind so geschnitten, dass ein Trinkschlauch geführt werden kann. Im Hard-Enduro, wo man mit Trinkrucksack fährt, ist das keine Spielerei.
Das Futter selbst ist ein 3D-Netzgewebe gegen Staub und Sand.
1475 Gramm — und die ehrliche Liste
🔵 1475 Gramm, Herstellerangabe, ohne unabhängige Bestätigung. Für einen Rallye-Helm mit drei Konfigurationen wäre das ein sehr guter Wert.
🔵🔵 Zur Vorsicht rät die Carbonversion: Sie wurde mit 1553 g nachgewogen bei 1350 g Angabe — 200 Gramm Abweichung.
Wo er steht — und wer etwas anderes kaufen sollte
🔵 Wer etwas anderes kaufen sollte: Fahrer, die nie ins Gelände gehen. Neun Einlässe, ein hoher Schirm und drei Konfigurationen kosten Gewicht und Geräusch, die auf Asphalt keinen Gegenwert haben.
🟢 Wer wirklich Piste fährt, bekommt hier Ausstattung, die es sonst nicht gibt.
Interkom, Kameraaufnahmen und Ersatzteile
🟢 Das POV-Kit ist ungewöhnlich vollständig: eine Aufnahme oben, eine seitliche und eine Kinnaufnahme mit vier Positionen. Letztere erlaubt, die Kamera auf die Blickachse auszurichten statt oben auf dem Helm.
