Was ein offener Helm leistet — und was nicht
🔵 Ein Punkt, der nicht relativiert werden sollte: Ohne Kinnbügel gibt es keinen Kinnschutz. Kein Material und keine Zulassung ändern daran etwas.
🔵 Und ein zweiter: Wer nach einer unabhängigen Note sucht, wird keine finden. SHARP testet keine Jethelme — die Abwesenheit einer Bewertung ist hier kein Warnsignal, sondern eine Eigenschaft der Kategorie.
Zur Aventure-Grafik TC-10
Es lohnt sich, offen darüber zu sprechen, was eine Grafikfassung kostet und was sie bringt, denn im Programm liegen die gezeichneten Ausführungen spürbar über den einfarbigen. Was man dafür bekommt, ist eine Schale, die aussieht, als sei sie gestaltet und nicht nur lackiert worden — und bei einem klassischen Jethelm, dessen ganzer Zweck der Auftritt ist, ist das kein Nebenaspekt. Was man nicht bekommt, ist irgendein technischer Unterschied: Schale, Visier, Polster, Zulassung und Gewicht sind bei allen dreizehn Ausführungen identisch. 🟢 Für die Sichtbarkeit trägt eine Zeichnung mit deutlichen Helligkeitssprüngen etwas bei, weil das Auge Kanten schneller auflöst als Flächen — mehr als bei einer einfarbigen dunklen Ausführung, weniger als bei einer hellen einfarbigen. 🔵 Und der Alterungsvorbehalt bleibt: Mehrfarbige Grafiken verschieben sich über die Jahre, weil kräftige Pigmente schneller nachlassen als gedeckte.
AIM, vier Schalen und ein Doppel-D-Ring
🟢 Glasfaser in Harz: Der AIM-Aufbau erlaubt eine Schale, die steif genug ist, ohne so dick zu werden wie Thermoplast. Bei einem Helm, dessen Reiz gerade in der kompakten runden Form liegt, wirkt sich das doppelt aus — auf Gewicht und Silhouette.

Das CJ-4-Visier — und das Pinlock, das es dafür nicht gibt
🟢 Die High-Definition-Yellow-Tönung ist ein unterschätztes Zubehör: Gelb nimmt keine Helligkeit weg, sondern erhöht den Kontrast bei diesigem und trübem Licht — genau dann, wenn ein dunkles Visier falsch wäre.
🔵 Zum Beschlag hilft sie allerdings nicht: Das CJ-4 ist nicht Pinlock-fähig, eine Antibeschlagscheibe gibt es dafür nicht.
Druckknöpfe, Schirme und die Motorradbrille
🟢 Wer zwischen Visier und Brille wechselt, sollte wissen: Beides geht, aber nicht gleichzeitig sinnvoll. Mit Schirm und Brille bekommt man mehr Luft und kein beschlagenes Visier — was bei einem Helm ohne Pinlock-Möglichkeit ein echtes Argument ist.
Die Kunstleder-Schlaufe am Heck hält das Brillenband; vorn sitzen drei Druckknöpfe für die Schirme.
Belüftung ohne einen einzigen Lüfter
Eine Schale ohne Lüfterhardware ist leichter, leiser an den Kanten und schlichtweg schöner — drei Gründe, die bei einem klassischen Jethelm zusammenfallen. Der J·O2 nutzt sie alle.
🟢 Der Luftweg ist integriert ausgeführt und kommt ohne äußere Bauteile aus.
🔵 Reguliert werden kann er nicht.
Innenraum, Einfassung und die richtige Passform
🟢 Die Brillenkanäle im Futter sind der Grund, warum viele Brillenträger bei diesem Helm bleiben: Der Bügel läuft in einer Aussparung, nicht gegen das Polster, und nach zwei Stunden schmerzt die Schläfe nicht.
Das Futter ist vollständig herausnehmbar und waschbar, die Polster in mehreren Stärken erhältlich.

Rund 1150 Gramm — und der Rest der ehrlichen Liste
🔵 Die Geräuschentwicklung ist bei jedem offenen Helm höher als bei einem geschlossenen. Bei einem Helm ohne Windabweiser und ohne Kinnteil gilt das doppelt — für Vielfahrer ist Gehörschutz zu empfehlen.
🟢 Auf der anderen Seite: rund 1150 g, vier Schalengrößen und ein Innenraum, der sich vollständig anpassen lässt.
Wo er im Shoei-Programm steht
🟢 Für Roller, klassische Maschinen und alles mit aufrechter Sitzposition ist der offene Helm die stimmigste Wahl. Der J·O2 ist darin Shoeis reduziertestes Modell — und für viele genau deshalb das richtige.

Wenn etwas verschleißt
🟢 Weil das Innenfutter vollständig entnehmbar ist, lässt es sich auch vollständig ersetzen: Kopfpolster, Wangenpolster und Einfassung stehen einzeln in der Ersatzteilliste — in mehreren Stärken, was zugleich der Passform zugutekommt.
Dazu kommen das CJ-4-Visier, die Grundplatten und die vier Schirme.
