DescriptionThe whole story▼
Please note: sale to France is prohibited.
The Shoei X-SPR PRO Diggia2 TC-3 is built from the inside out with the same materials and engineering discipline that define Shoei's presence at the highest level of professional racing. Every panel of the AIM+ shell — a multi-layer composite of fibreglass, organic fibres, and high-performance reinforcement materials — is hand-laid to exacting tolerances, resulting in a structure that is simultaneously rigid where stability demands it and compliant where impact management matters most. This is the Fabio Di Giannantonio Replica 2025 edition: a helmet that carries genuine MotoGP-derived construction under a livery worn at the front of the grid.
Key Features
- AIM+ (Advanced Integrated Matrix Plus) outer shell — multi-layer composite construction for an exceptional strength-to-weight balance at approx. 1,450 g
- Dual homologation: ECE 22.06 for road use and FIM FRHPhe-01 for professional racing circuits
- 13-port ventilation system — 7 intakes and 6 exhausts, including an upgraded cheek-pad ventilation channel
- CWR-F2R visor with enlarged vertical field of vision, engineered for deeply committed riding positions and extreme lean angles
- Pinlock EVO anti-fog insert included as standard, with tear-off compatibility for track use
- Double-D retention system paired with the EQRS emergency quick-release system for confident fastening and safe helmet removal
- Fully removable, washable and individually adjustable interior with modular crown-pad system and redesigned cheek pads for race-fit precision
Shell Construction and Material Excellence
Shoei's AIM+ technology is what separates the X-SPR PRO from helmets that merely look the part. The outer shell is formed from an advanced matrix of organic fibres and high-tensile reinforcement layers integrated with fibreglass — a construction that Shoei has refined over decades of involvement in premier-class racing. The result is a shell that disperses impact energy efficiently across its surface while keeping overall mass down to approximately 1,450 g depending on size.
Beneath the shell, a multi-density EPS liner works in concert with the outer structure to manage energy across a range of impact scenarios. This is not a single-compound liner — each zone is tuned independently, so the helmet performs as well in a low-speed incident as it does at track velocities. The interior liners are fully removable and machine-washable, and the modular pad system allows riders to fine-tune the fit with different pad thicknesses to suit individual head shapes.
Aerodynamic Stability at Speed
At the velocities a sportsbike is capable of generating, helmet aerodynamics are not cosmetic. The X-SPR PRO shell profile, rear stabiliser, and lateral guide edges are the product of wind-tunnel development aimed at reducing lift and buffeting when the rider is in an aggressive tuck. The geometry keeps the head stable at very high speeds, reducing the muscular effort required to hold position and allowing the rider to focus entirely on braking points, lines, and corner exits.
The redesigned cheek pads contribute to this stability. Their increased contact surface area improves the mechanical fit between helmet and head, which in turn reduces unwanted movement at speed. The same pads allow the rider to subtly adjust the helmet's seating angle, optimising the sight line when in a committed, forward-leaning riding position.
Visor Clarity and All-Condition Vision
The CWR-F2R visor was developed specifically for riders who spend time in highly inclined postures — whether on circuit or on a fast road. Its enlarged vertical aperture means that even when your chin is approaching the tank, the visor keeps the road ahead fully in view. A double locking mechanism prevents unintentional visor opening under aerodynamic loads, and the mechanism is smooth and positive to operate with gloves.
The included Pinlock EVO insert virtually eliminates condensation-related misting in changing weather, while the visor's tear-off compatibility makes the X-SPR PRO a genuine trackday and race tool. The entire visor system can be swapped tool-free for tinted or photochromic alternatives.
Ventilation for Sustained Performance
Racing intensity and warm conditions place real demands on a helmet's thermal management. Shoei's 13-port system — seven intakes drawing fresh air into the crown and face area, six exhausts extracting warm air from the rear — creates a through-flow that is perceptibly effective even at moderate speeds. The upgraded cheek-pad ventilation channel adds a further dimension, directing airflow around the sides of the face where heat accumulates most rapidly during sustained effort.
Fitment and Compatibility
The Shoei X-SPR PRO Diggia2 TC-3 Fabio Di Giannantonio Replica 2025 is road-legal under ECE 22.06 and approved for professional racing use under FIM homologation FRHPhe-01. It is suitable for road riding, trackdays, and competition. Glasses wearers can use the helmet — a glasses channel is present — though the race-oriented fit is snug and compatibility will depend on the profile of the frame. The helmet is conditionally compatible with universal intercom and Bluetooth communication systems; no dedicated Shoei SRL integration port is built in for the X-SPR PRO. A hydration system preparation point is included for track use.
