The foundation of the X-SPR PRO is the AIM+ shell — Shoei's most sophisticated composite construction. Six distinct layers of high-performance fibres are integrated into a single, precisely engineered matrix that balances impact absorption, rigidity, and low overall mass. The result is a shell that does not simply meet the FIM FRHPhe-01 racing standard — it is built around it. The Wayne Gardner TC-2 finish is applied over this structure in a high-gloss lacquer, with the distinctive blue, white, and red racing stripe livery drawn directly from Gardner's helmet iconography of the 1980s. The detailing is sharp, the Shoei branding is understated, and the overall execution is exactly what you would expect from a collector-grade replica edition.
Ventilation and Comfort
Racing conditions demand a ventilation system that performs when temperatures and pace are both extreme. The X-SPR PRO delivers 7 intake vents and 6 exhaust ports working in coordinated airflow channels across the shell. The cheek pads have been redesigned with a larger contact surface and integrated ventilation to improve both comfort over long stints and airflow across the face. The full interior lining is removable, washable, and interchangeable — inlet pads for personal fitting are available separately. The helmet is also compatible with hydration systems (CamelBak-ready), making it a genuine tool for extended track sessions as well as long road rides.
Visor System
The CWR-F2R visor ships clear and pre-installed, with an expanded vertical field of view that gives a wider sightline at full tuck.
