Die Kiyo-Trico-Edition des Arai RX-7V Evo ist mehr als nur eine Grafik – sie ist ein Statement rennsportlichen Erbes in einem Hochglanzfinish, das sowohl in der Boxengasse als auch auf offener Straße alle Blicke auf sich zieht. Aufgebaut auf Arais ausgereiftester Straßenrennsport-Plattform und nach dem strengen ECE-22.06-Standard zertifiziert, verbindet dieser Helm die Welt des professionellen Wettkampfs mit dem Alltag – ganz ohne Kompromisse.

Design und Finish
Das Kiyo-Trico-Design gehört zur Arai-Replica-Kollektion 2023 und ist in einem Hochglanzlack ausgeführt, der die vielschichtige Farbgestaltung der Grafik zum Leben erweckt. Jede Rundung der RX-7V-Evo-Schale ist von Jahrzehnten der handgefertigten Produktionsphilosophie Arais geprägt – das Ergebnis ist eine Silhouette, die auf der Rennstrecke sofort wiedererkennbar und auch im Stand ein echter Blickfang ist.
Weiterentwicklung gegenüber dem RX-7V
Die Bezeichnung Evo steht für einen echten technischen Fortschritt gegenüber dem ursprünglichen RX-7V. Die Rezertifizierung nach ECE R22-06 – dem anspruchsvollsten europäischen Helmstandard, der derzeit gilt – brachte spürbare Neuerungen mit sich: Die Konstruktion der Wangenpolster wurde überarbeitet, wobei die seitlichen Belüftungskanäle an die Rückseite des Polsters verlegt wurden, um Druckpunkte zu reduzieren und die Luftführung im Innenraum zu verbessern. Gleichzeitig wurde das Innenfutter auf das Material Eco Pure umgestellt – ein weicheres, strapazierfähigeres Gewebe, das sich leicht waschen lässt und auch bei intensiver Nutzung seine Form behält.
Schale und Sicherheitsarchitektur
Arai fertigt die Schale des RX-7V Evo aus einem mehrlagigen Faserverbundmaterial, handlaminiert im werkseigenen Betrieb in Omiya, Japan. Das abgerundete Außenprofil – ein zentrales Gestaltungsprinzip von Arai – ist darauf ausgelegt, Aufprallenergie abgleiten zu lassen und umzuleiten, statt sie an einem einzigen Punkt zu absorbieren, und entspricht damit den Energiemanagement-Anforderungen nach ECE 22.06. Das Ergebnis ist eine Schale, die außergewöhnlich stabil ist und zugleich den aktuellsten regulatorischen Anforderungen entspricht.
Komfort und Praxistauglichkeit
Der RX-7V Evo verfügt über eine rennsportlich orientierte Passform, die eng am Kopf anliegt und die präzise, bewegungsfreie Verbindung bietet, die Fahrer auf der Rennstrecke erwarten. Diese sportliche Geometrie bedeutet, dass sich der Helm weniger für Brillenträger eignet. Das Innenfutter ist vollständig herausnehmbar und maschinenwaschbar. Bluetooth-Gegensprechanlagen lassen sich bedingt nachrüsten, entsprechend der von SHARP gelisteten Kompatibilität mit Kommunikationssystemen für den RX-7V Evo – die Kompatibilität sollte vor dem Kauf mit dem jeweiligen Hersteller der Gegensprechanlage bestätigt werden.

Passform und Kompatibilität
Der Arai RX-7V Evo ist ein Universalhelm, der für den Straßen- und Renneinsatz in allen Motorradkategorien zugelassen ist. Die Kompatibilität mit Gegensprechanlagen sollte vor dem Einbau mit dem jeweiligen Hersteller geprüft werden. Für regelmäßige Brillenträger aufgrund des eng anliegenden Rennsport-Innenfutters nicht empfohlen.
