DescriptionThe whole story▼
The FE 350 is Husqvarna's mid-size enduro four-stroke, built to cover long, varied trails rather than lap a motocross circuit. Accossato's BEP01 crankcase plug fits the FE 350 built between 2014 and 2017, in orange or blue.
Key Features
- Crankcase plug for the Husqvarna FE 350, 2014 to 2017
- Accossato code BEP01
- Available in orange or blue
- Closes an opening on the engine case
- Same code also listed for the Husqvarna FC 450, the Husqvarna FE 501 and the KTM 350SX-F
- Accossato also offers the COP01 oil pump cover, the PBM01 rear brake reservoir cover, the SEP01 crankcase plug and the TFM03 oil filter cover for this bike
- No German ABE on file; built for off-road and competition riding
Construction and Material Quality
The BEP01 threads into the FE 350's engine case in the same way the standard plug does, in orange or blue. On a trail bike that covers long distances over a single ride, this plug goes many more hours between checks than it would on a bike only ever used for short motocross motos.
Long Days, More Hours Between Checks
An FE 350 ridden on multi-hour trail days accumulates engine hours quickly compared with a bike only used for short motos, and small threaded parts like this plug are worth checking for tightness more often as a result rather than only at a fixed service interval. A plug that has started to work loose rarely fails outright, but it is the kind of thing worth catching on a pre-ride check before a long day rather than discovering a slow weep afterwards. Keeping a BEP01 as a spare covers that possibility cheaply.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato's application list has the BEP01 fitting the FE 350 from 2014 to 2017. The same plug also fits the Husqvarna FC 450, the Husqvarna FE 501 and the KTM 350SX-F. On the FE 350, it sits alongside the COP01 oil pump cover, the PBM01 rear brake reservoir cover, the SEP01 crankcase plug and the TFM03 oil filter cover. Checking the exact build year against the application list before ordering is still worth doing.
Road Approval
No German ABE is on file for the BEP01, so Accossato lists it for off-road and competition use rather than for use on public roads.
