Road Approval
According to Gilles, no approval is needed for the weights on the Triumph THRUXTON 900. Nothing is entered in the papers; the requirement is a tight fit in the handlebar and a throttle that still snaps back on its own.
Scope of Delivery
Two IP weights in your chosen colour plus the Gilles mounting kit; the kit covers handlebars from 12 to 22 mm inside diameter.
Fitting
Take the old weights off, fit the Gilles weights with the matching parts from the mounting kit and tighten them evenly. Turn the handlebar lock to lock and check that nothing touches the fairing or the tank.
