Vier SHARP-Sterne — der einzige MT-Helm, der welche hat
🟢 SHARP prüft nicht die Zulassung — die hat der Helm ohnehin — sondern wie viel Energie beim Kopf ankommt. Vier von fünf Sternen sind das Resultat für den Track SV, gemessen im April 2026 nach ECE 22.06.
🟢🟢 Im gesamten MT-Programm gibt es keinen zweiten Helm mit einer solchen Bewertung.
Zum matten Grau
Grau ist der Ton, zu dem viele nach dem zweiten Helm greifen, und die Gründe sind praktischer Natur. Gegenüber Schwarz liegt die Helligkeit weit genug oben, dass sich die Silhouette vor Asphalt und Baumreihe noch abhebt. Gegenüber Weiß bleibt eine Fläche, die Staub und Regenschlieren nicht bei jedem Halt vorzeigt — bei einem Helm, der auf Schotterwegen unterwegs ist, zählt das doppelt. Auf einer Reiseenduro mit Alukoffern schließt sich das Bild besonders gut. 🔵 Eine Wetterlage bleibt ungünstig: nasser Asphalt unter bedecktem Himmel, wenn die Fahrbahn selbst grau wird. Dann liegt der Helm im Kontrast dicht an seinem Hintergrund, und Jacke oder Warnweste müssen die Arbeit übernehmen. 🔵 Zur Pflege der matten Oberfläche: Die feine Struktur hält Staub und Insektenreste fest und darf nicht poliert werden, weil dabei glänzende Stellen entstehen, die sich nicht mehr angleichen lassen. Einweichen, abspülen, sanft abnehmen — bei getrocknetem Lehm lieber zweimal einweichen als einmal reiben.
Dual-Sport — ein Integralhelm mit Schirm
Ein Dual-Sport-Helm ist ein Kompromiss zwischen zwei Einsatzarten, und man sollte wissen, welche überwiegt. 🟢 Auf Schotter zählen Schirm und Sichtfeld; auf der Autobahn zählen Ruhe und Aerodynamik — und der Schirm arbeitet dort gegen beides.
Der Track SV ist konstruktiv ein Integralhelm mit Adventure-Schirm.
HIRP, ECE 22.06 — und zwei verschiedene Gewichte
🟢 HIRP steht für High Impact Resistant Polymer. Die Schale verformt sich unter Schlag, verteilt die Last und gibt sie verzögert an den EPS-Kern darunter weiter — dasselbe Prinzip wie bei Faserverbund, mit anderem Materialverhalten und niedrigerem Preis.
🔵 Gewicht: 1,5 kg laut MT, 1,6 kg laut SHARP-Messung.
Die MT-ESP-Sonnenblende
🟢 Am Tunneleingang zählt, wie schnell die Blende oben ist. Der Einzelschieber des MT-ESP löst sie mit einer Bewegung aus — keine Suche unter dem Rand, kein Blick nach unten.
🔵 Ersatz gibt es als Einzelteil; die Blende ist ein Verschleißteil wie das Visier.
Das HS-12-Visier und die Antibeschlagscheibe zum Nachkaufen
Beschlagene Visiere sind der häufigste Grund, warum Fahrer bei Regen das Visier öffnen — und genau dann verlieren sie den Schutz vor Wind und Steinschlag. 🔵 Beim Track SV müssen Sie die Antibeschlagscheibe selbst nachkaufen: Pinlock® DKS 623 oder FogOff.
🟢 Das HS-12-Visier ist schlagfest und optisch klar.
ERS — das Emergency Release System
🟢 Das ERS ist ein System für andere, nicht für Sie: Es hilft den Menschen, die im Ernstfall an Ihnen arbeiten. Die seitlichen Polster lassen sich herausziehen, sodass der Helm abgenommen werden kann, ohne die Halswirbelsäule zu bewegen.
Bei einem Helm für Gelände und Landstraße ist das eine sinnvolle Ausstattung.
Innenfutter, Passform und Interkom-Vorbereitung
🟢 Der Helm hat eine UCS-Interkom-Vorbereitung — eine Aufnahme, die gängige Kommunikationssysteme aufnimmt, ohne auf eine Marke festgelegt zu sein.
🔵 Ein System gehört nicht zum Lieferumfang; der Helm bringt nur den Platz mit.
Der mikrometrische Verschluss
Eine mikrometrische Ratsche erlaubt feinere Abstufungen als ein Doppel-D-Ring und lässt sich mit Handschuhen bedienen. 🟢 Beim Track SV kommt eine doppelte Verzahnung dazu.
Praktisch heißt das: Sie können den Riemen über T-Shirt wie über Halstuch jeweils richtig ziehen, ohne die Grundeinstellung zu verändern.
Wo er im MT-Programm steht
🟢 MT-Helmets fertigt in Spanien. Der Track SV ist innerhalb des Programms das Modell mit dem stärksten Argument: vier SHARP-Sterne bei einer Thermoplastschale.
🔵 Was ihm fehlt, ist ein DOT-Zeichen und eine Antibeschlagscheibe im Karton.
Wenn etwas verschleißt
🟢 Wer den Helm über Jahre fahren will, sollte ein Teil gleich mitbestellen, das nicht im Karton liegt: die Pinlock®-DKS-623-Antibeschlagscheibe. Bei europäischem Wetter ist sie die erste Nachrüstung.
🔵 Zum Helm selbst: nach etwa fünf Jahren ersetzen, unabhängig vom Zustand.
