Wo die andere Assya-Farbvariante auf Türkis und Violett setzt, geht diese hier voll auf Knallpink über Schwarz — eine mutigere, einfarbige Interpretation desselben Krallenspur-Motivs, zum identischen Preis wie jedes Grafik-Dekor, das Shark beim Ridill 2 anbietet.

Der Standard, den jeder Ridill 2 erfüllt: ECE 22.06

Neu homologierte, in der EU verkaufte Helme brauchen seit Januar 2024 ECE 22.06, ein deutlich strengeres Update gegenüber der vorherigen ECE 22.05. Fünf Aufprallpunkte wurden zu achtzehn. Eine einzelne Prüfgeschwindigkeit wurde zu einer Bandbreite. Die Vorschrift ergänzte einen Schrägaufpralltest, der die Schale über eine raue Oberfläche gleiten lässt, um Drehkräfte einzubringen, die ein gerader Falltest nie hätte erzeugen können, und sie erfasst nun Rotationsdaten für Verletzungen neben der älteren linearen Messung. Geprüft wird mit allem montiert — Visier sowie, wo vorhanden, Pinlock-Einsatz und Kommunikationseinheit. Ein Blick auf die Schale zeigt "2206", nichts weiter angehängt. Straßenhomologation, nicht mehr.

1.470 g: warum die Zahl über das Gefühl im Laden hinausgeht

Shark nennt diese Angabe für die kleinere der beiden verfügbaren Schalengrößen; ein mittleres M auf der größeren Schale wiegt meist etwas mehr. Visordowns eigene Waage zeigte bei einem Exemplar in Größe M 1.474 g — nah genug an der offiziellen Zahl, um ihr zu vertrauen. Kurz in die Hand genommen, ist dieses Gewicht unauffällig. Einen ganzen Fahrtag getragen, wird es sehr real, denn allein der Nacken trägt es ununterbrochen, ohne Pause. Über Sharks Straßenhelm-Sortiment hinweg liegt das Gewicht meist zwischen etwa 1.250 g und 1.800 g, und dieser Helm liegt deutlich unter der Mitte davon.

Hinter dem Druck: Schale, Schaumstoff, Verschluss

Lässt man die Grafik beiseite, bleibt der übliche Ridill-2-Aufbau — eine Thermoplast-Schale, laut Sharks eigenen Unterlagen "Thermoplastique", laut unabhängiger Berichterstattung Lexan-Polycarbonat, gefertigt in zwei Schalengrößen statt einer für jeden Kopf mit zusätzlicher Polsterung angepassten Schale. Das EPS-Futter im Inneren stuft seine Dichte über verschiedene Zonen hinweg ab, statt gleichmäßig zu bleiben, und eine Ratschenschnalle übernimmt den Verschluss — schnell, einhändig, handschuhtauglich, und präzise darin, wo sie einrastet.

Belüftung, die keine bloßen Hände verlangt

Ein Test ergab drei Lüftungen insgesamt: eine am Kinn, zwei am Scheitel mit gemeinsamem Regler, zwei Auslässe hinten, und jede einzelne funktioniert mit Handschuhen. Die Gesamtbelüftung wurde für den normalen Gebrauch als "mehr als ausreichend" eingestuft. Fair zu erwähnen: Die Kinnlüftung ist eher zum Visier als direkt zum Gesicht des Fahrers ausgerichtet, geht also mehr um Beschlagschutz als um Kinnkühlung.

Das Visier im Detail

Optische Klasse 1, kratzfest beschichtet, ganz ohne Werkzeug abnehmbar. Er nimmt einen Pinlock-70-Einsatz auf, der jedoch nicht enthalten ist — ein Zukauf, der sich lohnt, wer bei kaltem oder nassem Wetter fährt, denn ohne ihn kann das Visier schnell beschlagen, sobald die Lüftung geschlossen ist und die Atmung zunimmt. Diese Farbvariante liegt komplett außerhalb von Sharks IRID-Reihe für photochrome Visiere; dieses Programm deckt derzeit nur AERON GP, AERON und RACE R PRO ab, ein selbsttönendes Visier müsste hier aus dem Zubehörmarkt kommen.

Assya in Pink: der Name gegen die Schale gehalten

Sharks eigene Farbbezeichnung lautet für dieses Dekor "Black Violet Violet", doch die Schale in der Hand erzählt eine etwas andere Geschichte: Die Streifen sind ein kräftiges, gesättigtes Pink, kein ins Blaue gehendes Violett — Magenta ist tatsächlich das treffendere Wort für das, was hier zu sehen ist. Das lohnt sich zu wissen, bevor allein nach dem Farbnamen bestellt wird. Das Muster selbst fächert sich vom Scheitel aus im selben Krallenspur-Stil auf wie die andere Assya-Ausführung, nur in einem einzigen kräftigen Ton statt einer Mehrfarbmischung, und ein glänzender Klarlack über dem Druck hält Kratzern gut stand, macht Fingerabdrücke aber etwas sichtbarer als eine matte Oberfläche.

Kleine Details, die es wert sind, gekannt zu werden

Eine über einen Schieberegler am Scheitel bedienbare Sonnenblende senkt sich innen, ohne die Fahrt zu unterbrechen. Die Wangenpolsterung ist so geschnitten, dass Brillenbügel Platz finden. Die Schale nimmt Kommunikationshardware im Sharktooth- oder SENA-Stil ohne Umbau auf. Das äußere Visier löst sich werkzeuglos von der Schale, für einen Wisch oder den kompletten Tausch.

Wie die Größenwahl tatsächlich aufgebaut ist

Sechs Größen reichen von XS bis XXL, verteilt aber auf nur zwei physische Schalengrößen statt auf eine für jeden Kopf mit mehr oder weniger Polsterung umgeformte Schale — das bewahrt die kleinsten Helme davor, klobig zu wirken, und die größten davor, eng zu sitzen. Visordowns eigener Test, in Größe M, bewertete die Passform als "sehr gut" und "extrem bequem", hob die weite, leicht zu nutzende Öffnung hervor und berichtete von engem Wangensitz ohne Druckstellen.

Wo der Preis landet: Ridill 2, D-Skwal 3, Skwal Cup

209,99 Euro kostet dieses Grafik-Dekor — eine Stufe über den einfarbigen Varianten ab 189,99 Euro derselben Linie, und weiterhin der günstigste Einstieg in Sharks gesamtes Integralhelm-Sortiment. Eine Stufe darüber beginnt der D-Skwal 3 bei 219,99 Euro und bringt eine im Windkanal entwickelte Schale sowie mehr Dekoroptionen mit. Noch eine Stufe darüber eröffnet der Skwal Cup bei 269,99 Euro mit einem per CFD geformten Heckspoiler für Stabilität bei höherem Tempo. Gegenübergestellt zeigen diese Zahlen genau, was zusätzliches Geld an jeder Stufe bringt.

Ein ehrliches Wort zum Windgeräusch

Für diesen Helm wurde nie ein Dezibelwert veröffentlicht, und eine Zahl zu erfinden würde nur einen falschen Eindruck erzeugen. Verfügbar ist Visordowns eigener Bericht aus echter Fahrt: "a quiet helmet to use at motorway speeds", zusammen mit der weiterhin geltenden Empfehlung, auf längeren Fahrten Ohrstöpsel zu tragen, dazu ein Hinweis auf leichte Verwirbelung bei Autobahntempo, die der Tester als "not horrendous" bezeichnete. Das ist als echter Fahreindruck zu nehmen, kein wissenschaftliches Ergebnis — denn ein solches Ergebnis für diesen Helm wurde nirgends veröffentlicht.

Ersatzvisiere, falls nötig

Der Ridill 2 erscheint namentlich in Sharks Ersatzvisier-Sortiment, zusammen mit Skwal Cup, D-Skwal 3 und Skwal i3, mit sieben angebotenen Visierausführungen — Dark Smoke, mehrere Iridium-Tönungen und eine klare, Pinlock-fähige Option darunter. Ein zerkratzter oder beschlagener Schirm braucht nur einen Ersatz, nicht den ganzen Helm.

Was nicht dabei ist

Klar gesagt: Dieser Helm hat kein MIPS-Futter, kein elektronisches Schnellentriegelungssystem, und keinen Pinlock-Einsatz im Lieferumfang — nur die Aufnahme dafür. Es ist kein Kinnwindabweiser montiert, weshalb spürbar mehr kalte Luft am Hals zu erwarten ist als bei einem tourenartigen Helm. SHARP hat einen "Ridill 2" getestet und vier Sterne gegen ECE 22.06 vergeben, datiert Februar 2025 — die für genau diesen Helm richtige Generation —, doch dieselbe SHARP-Seite nennt zugleich einen Verkaufspreis von 549 Pfund, der erkennbar nichts mit dem tatsächlichen Preis dieses Helms irgendwo zu tun hat; am besten als Fehler auf SHARPs Seite zu werten, nicht als echte Zahl. Es gibt hier keine FIM-Renn-Homologation und keinen montierten Heckspoiler — ein Budget-Straßenhelm, entsprechend bepreist und ausgestattet.
