When to replace it
A crown liner does its job as long as it holds the helmet firmly without pressure points. Replace it when the foam has flattened and the helmet moves on your head where it once did not, when the fabric has worn through at the forehead, or when washing no longer removes the smell. A liner that has gone thin changes how the helmet sits, and that is not something to ride around with.

The supplier writes CAP LINNING, the French line COIFFE. Shark lists no helmet against this number directly: the Aeron GP comes from the number prefix 03, which this part shares with the VE03 range of shell parts; lines of that range name the Aeron GP in Shark's price list. Look for IN03010P on the label of your old liner, and order the same size as your helmet; the liner size follows the helmet size.
Keeping it serviceable
Take the liner out before washing, hand wash in lukewarm water with a mild soap, press the water out in a towel rather than wringing it, and let it dry at room temperature. A radiator or tumble dryer shrinks foam and fabric. Refit only when it is fully dry.
