The choice of kangaroo leather is deliberate: it delivers a superior strength-to-weight ratio compared with cowhide, meaning the Mugello 3 can be cut with fewer overlapping panels and reduced seam count. Fewer seams translate directly into fewer potential failure points in a slide, and a cleaner, more supple fit around the body. The titanium plates integrated at the shoulders, elbows and knees are seamlessly bonded into the structure rather than bolted on — keeping the profile low and the surface smooth against the road in the event of a fall. Ergonomics and Freedom of Movement

The Pent-Axial system at the back is an evolution of Dainese's established Tri-Axial architecture, now offering five-directional stretch. The Soft Edges construction at the collar and cuffs eliminates pressure points on the neck, and the Veloce Racing collar reduces load on the nape so head movement stays natural at speed. Thermal Management and Long-Session Comfort

Perforated leather across the key ventilation zones works in concert with the breathable mesh inner lining to move warm air away from the body during sustained high-intensity riding. An integrated hydration bladder pocket allows fluid intake during races without stopping. The removable inner lining is fully washable, maintaining hygiene and extending the service life of the suit across a full season of use.

D-AIR® System Activation — Important Information

The D-AIR® airbag system must be activated and registered before first use. Activation requires the D-air® app installed on a compatible mobile device or tablet. The following suits are compatible with this app:

The suit carries a two-year manufacturer's warranty covering conformity defects, entitling the owner to free repair or replacement parts under Dainese's current warranty terms.
