Keeping it serviceable
Take the liner out after hot or wet days and dry it fully before it goes back. For washing, use lukewarm water and mild soap by hand, rinse thoroughly, press it out without wringing, and let it dry at room temperature. Heat from radiators or a dryer shrinks the fabric and hardens the padding.

The Aeron GP FIM 2 is named in the helmet model column of Shark's price list for IN41010P. The supplier line carries the same FIM #2 marking. No other helmet is given for this number.
Picking the size
Order the size of your helmet, which is on the label in the helmet or on the chin strap. Shark's listed weights vary from size to size, between 55 g and 82 g, and do not rise evenly with the size, so do not read anything into the weight. If the helmet has always fitted loosely or tightly, talk to your dealer before switching size.
When to replace it
A crown liner that has compressed lets the helmet sit lower and wander. Tears in the fabric, lumps in the padding or a fit that washing no longer restores are the other signs.
