DescriptionThe whole story▼
A touring TENERE 700 needs the reservoir where luggage and hand guards are not. The OBT008 sets the reservoir position on the TENERE 700 at 60.6 mm and 90.3 mm. There is no colour choice here — the OBT008 is black. Fitting it to a TENERE 700 is a job of minutes, not hours.
Key Features
- Reversible — the original part goes back on the TENERE 700 any time
- Simple, intuitive mounting — LighTech's own description, and it holds
- The front bracket of the pair
- Covers the TENERE 700 across 8 model years (2019 to 2026)
- Sold separately from the reservoir, as LighTech supplies it
- Made in Italy
Installation
The OBT008 goes on with the TENERE 700 on its stand. Offer the bracket up before tightening — the hose run on the TENERE 700 decides the angle. Keep the original parts — the change is fully reversible on the TENERE 700.
Where the Reservoir Ends Up
The bracket is the part that has to suit the TENERE 700, not the tank. The OBT008 sets the reservoir at 60.6 mm height with 90.3 mm of projection. One bracket per reservoir — the TENERE 700 needs the tank ordered alongside.
Fitment and Compatibility
LighTech catalogues the OBT008 for the TENERE 700 (2019 to 2026). Mounting is simple, but where it ends up on the TENERE 700 is your decision, not a fixed point.
Maintenance
Check the bracket fasteners on the TENERE 700 at the same interval as the bar clamps. The OBT008 needs no maintenance of its own beyond that.
Before You Order
No reservoir is included with the OBT008. It is made for the LighTech reservoir range and fits none of the original parts. If you are starting from nothing on the TENERE 700, you need both lines on the order.
What You Get
LighTech ships the OBT008 on its own. Spares are listed under their own numbers rather than bundled.
Approval Status
Brake components are regulated for the obvious reason, and this is one. We list the OBT008 without an approval claim because LighTech issues none. Have a workshop bleed and pressure-test the TENERE 700 circuit once the part is on, whatever your inspector says.
