The women's Knox Impass in black is a waterproof jacket for riders who refuse to let wind, rain or storms decide their plans. Knox cut it for women and combined technical waterproofing with an easy, stylish look that works on and off the bike.
It is a weather shell with a 20k membrane and sealed seams, designed to be layered over a Knox armoured shirt. The Impass itself has no CE rating and no armour.

Knox describes the women's Impass as combining technical excellence with effortless style. The soft-stretch fabric and luxuriously soft interior give it the feel of high-end outdoor clothing, with the comfort and freedom of movement you need on a motorcycle.
It layers easily over a Knox armoured shirt or under other outer layers, so you can build your outfit around the weather.
Waterproofing
A high-performance 20k membrane keeps out wind and rain while staying light and breathable for all-day wear. The jacket is fully seam-sealed, and the cuffs and hem are bonded for a sleek finish and maximum waterproofing.
A drawcord neckline and Lift & Lock cuff system give a tailored, secure fit over gloves, and a drawcord at the hem closes the jacket at the bottom.
Comfort Features
The asymmetric main zipper reduces bulk at the collar for a more comfortable fit under the helmet. The waterproof hood zips off and adjusts with a drawcord, so it adapts to off-bike rain and comes off for riding.
Knox's matching unisex Impass overtrousers turn the jacket into a full all-weather kit.
Pockets and Visibility
A large central water-repellent zipped pocket holds a phone and keys in its organisers, and a side pocket adds space. Reflective twin-stitch detailing, integrated piping and reflective branding improve visibility in low light.
Sizing and Layering
Knox's women's size chart uses bust, waist and hip measurements, and lists XS as UK 8 up to 3XL as UK 20. Because the Impass is designed to go over an armoured shirt, choose the size you wear in Knox upper-body garments; if you sit between two, Knox recommends the larger.
On cold days, a thin insulating layer between armoured shirt and Impass keeps you warm without making the outfit bulky, and the stretch fabric leaves room for it.
Looking After the Membrane
Dirt and body oils reduce the breathability of any membrane over time. Wash the women's Impass according to its care label after heavy use, close all zips before washing and let it dry naturally. Clean fabric also keeps the reflective twin-stitching and piping bright for night riding.
What You Should Know
The Impass offers weather protection only: no CE rating, no armour and no armour pockets. Wear it over an armoured shirt for protection, and add a warm mid-layer in cold weather as the jacket is not insulated.
Use Knox's women's size chart with bust, waist and hip; sizes run XS to 3XL.
Colour
Black makes the women's Impass easy to combine and keeps road grime out of sight. In rain and gloom it is also the hardest colour to spot, so the reflective stitching, piping and branding matter; Smoke Blue is the brighter alternative if you want more daytime presence.
