Nehmen Sie dem Blank-Dekor den Glanz, und die Form liest sich anders: ein Mattfinish flacht Reflexionen ab und laesst Spoiler, Lueftungsoeffnungen und Paneelfugen als Schatten und Kante wirken statt als Glanzlichter auf gewoelbtem Hochglanz. Blank Matt ist dieselbe Technik wie Blank Schwarz unter einem Finish, das viele Fahrer im Alltag schlicht bevorzugen, weil es Fingerabdruecke und leichte Kratzer ueber Monate hinweg weniger zeigt als Hochglanz.
Der Spoiler unter dem Matt
Ein matter Klarlack aendert nichts daran, was der Spoiler tut. Shark hat diese Finne eigens fuer die Jet-Cup-Schale entwickelt und im Windkanal getestet, um die Luft zu ordnen, die am Heck eines offenen Helms abreisst – ein schwierigeres aerodynamisches Problem als bei einem Integralhelm, weil es von vornherein keine abgedichtete Front gibt, die die Luft haelt. Die Finne gibt dieser Luft einen kontrollierten Ausgang, statt sie sich abloesen und flattern zu lassen, und zwar unabhaengig davon, ob die Schale darunter glaenzt oder matt ist.
Schale, Schalengroessen und Verschluss
Das Schalenmaterial ist Lexan-Polycarbonat, dasselbe Material wie in der uebrigen 2027er-Skwal-Reihe, gebaut in zwei getrennten Schalengroessen (XS-M und L-XXL) statt einer ausgepolsterten Form. Der Verschluss ist eine Mikrometerschnalle: ein in feinen Schritten verstellbarer Riemen, mit einer Bewegung geloest, schneller einhaendig am Stand zu bedienen als ein durchgefaedelter Doppel-D-Ring, wie ihn der Vollvisier-Skwal-Cup stattdessen traegt.
Was ECE 22.06 auf einem offenen Helm wirklich prueft
Beginnen wir mit der Zahl auf dem Zertifikat: 2206, kein FIM-Zusatz. Das ist ECE 22.06, seit Januar 2024 EU-weit Pflicht fuer neu zugelassene Helme, und eine wirklich andere Pruefung als die abgeloeste Norm 22.05, nicht nur eine hoehere Versionsnummer. Wo 22.05 eine Schale an fuenf Punkten traf, trifft 22.06 an achtzehn, bei mehreren Geschwindigkeiten, und ergaenzt einen Schraegaufprall-Test gegen einen abrasiven Amboss, der die Schale verdreht statt gerade fallen zu lassen – naeher an dem, wie ein Helm tatsaechlich beim Rutschen auf Asphalt aufkommt. Rotationsenergie bekommt nun eine eigene Bewertung, das Brain Injury Criterion, zusaetzlich zur aelteren linearen Verzoegerungsmessung. Die gesamte Pruefung laeuft mit bereits montiertem Visier, Pinlock und eventueller Kommunikationsanlage.
1.430 Gramm, ueber den ganzen Tag gespuert
Sharks eigener Wert fuer diesen Helm sind 1.430 g (+/-50 g), fuer die kleinere der beiden Schalengroessen. Diese Zahl ist nicht dekorativ: ein Helm liegt oberhalb des koerpereigenen Schwerpunkts, also vervielfacht sich jedes Gramm bei jeder Kopfdrehung zu Nackenlast, den ganzen Tag, nicht nur bei einer einzelnen harten Bremsung.
Lueftung
Luft stroemt durch zwei vordere Einlaesse und entweicht durch zwei hintere Auslaesse – ein direkter Weg, den die offene Front ermoeglicht: kein Kinnbuegel, der den Luftstrom umleitet, bevor er die Stirn erreicht. Shark macht das absichtlich einfach; die ganze Anziehungskraft eines Jethelms liegt im offenen Gesicht, das die Kuehlarbeit uebernimmt, die ein geschlossenes System sonst leisten muesste.
Visier und Pinlock
Optical Class 1, seitlich statt zentral verriegelnd, mit Anti-Kratz-Beschichtung und einem in den Visierrand eingearbeiteten Wirbelgenerator: das ist das VZ670-Visier, das dieser Helm mit dem einfachen Skwal Jet und dem LED-Skwal i3 Jet teilt. Ein Max-Vision-Pinlock-70-Einsatz ist vormontiert und spannungseinstellbar, kein Zubehoerteil. Die klare Toenung ist die einzige, die fuer alle Fahrer strassenzugelassen ist – Sharks Iridium- und Dunkelrauch-Optionen fuer diese Schale sind Racing-only, ein bewusster Zweitkauf, kein beilaeufiger Tausch.
Sonnenblende und Alltag
Eine ausklappbare innenliegende Sonnenblende arbeitet ueber einen eigenen Mechanismus, getrennt vom Hauptvisier, und die Innenpolsterung ist so zugeschnitten, dass sie Brillenbuegel nicht in die Schlaefe druckt. SENA-Interkom-Kompatibilitaet ist fuer diesen Helm ausdruecklich angegeben.
Passform: was sechs Groessen ueber zwei Schalen bedeutet
Die Groessen reichen von XS bis XXL, verteilt auf zwei getrennte Schalen – XS-M in der kleineren Form, L-XXL in der groesseren. Zwei Schalen statt einer ausgepolsterten Form halten die Passform, und den oben genannten Gewichtswert, an beiden Enden des Groessenbereichs ehrlich, nicht nur in der Mitte.
Windgeraeusche, ehrlich gesagt
Windgeraeusche sind bei jedem Jethelm, auch diesem, bei Tempo hoeher als bei einem Integralhelm – schon durch die Bauweise: kein Kinnbuegel, und eine Visierkante naeher am Kiefer. Der in den Visierrand eingearbeitete Wirbelgenerator senkt die Turbulenz, ohne sie zu beseitigen. Fuer dieses Modell existiert kein veroeffentlichter Dezibelwert, also wird hier keiner behauptet.

Was dieser Helm nicht schuetzt
Kein Kinnbuegel existiert an dieser Schale, und nichts oben aendert das – nicht die Zertifizierung, nicht der Spoiler, nicht das Visier. Bei der Art von Aufprall, die bei einem Integralhelm den Kinnbereich belasten wuerde, hat diese Form nichts Gleichwertiges ueber dem Kiefer. ECE 22.06 deckt ab, was die Schale tatsaechlich hat; es sagt nichts darueber, was ein offenes Gesicht konstruktionsbedingt ungedeckt laesst. Dieser Kompromiss ist das ganze Prinzip eines Jethelms und sollte ehrlich abgewogen werden, bevor man einen kauft.
Zum Mattfinish
Der Mattlack ist gleichmaessig ueber jedes Paneel aufgetragen, ohne den leicht kunststoffigen Look, den ein billigeres Matt haben kann, und haelt Kratzer von Handschuhen und Visierbaendern ueber eine Saison regelmaessiger Nutzung besser aus als Hochglanz. Zusammen mit dem grafikfreien Blank-Dekor ist dies der ruhigste moegliche Ausdruck der Jet-Cup-Form – die ganze Technik, keine Dekoration.
Fuer wen sich dieses Dekor eignet
Wer taeglich pendelt oder den Helm auf einem Strassenstellplatz statt in einer Garage laesst, bevorzugt oft genau deshalb Matt – es zeigt Gebrauchsspuren zwischen den Reinigungen schlicht weniger. Dieses Dekor passt genau zu diesem Einsatzzweck: keine Grafik, die verblasst, kein Glanz, der zerkratzt, nur eine Schale, gebaut zum Benutzen statt zum Anschauen.
