Full Carbon führt denselben Gedanken wie Carbon Skin einen Schritt weiter: ein anthrazitfarbenes statt schwarzes Gewebe, sodass das Muster auch bei flachem Licht sichtbar bleibt, statt eine direkte Lichtquelle zu brauchen. Sharks eigene Farbbezeichnung dafür, Carbon Anthracite Carbon, sagt genau das, was das Auge auf den Fotos bestätigt — graustichige Faser, nicht schwarz, und das einzige Dekor dieser Reihe, das so aufgebaut ist. An der Form ändert sich nichts gegenüber dem Rest der Familie; nur der Ton des Gewebes.
Der Name ist hier wörtlich gemeint
Wo Carbon Skin und das grafische Speed-Tech-Dekor die Schalenkonstruktion mit einem darüber- oder darumliegenden Finish teilen, ist Full Carbon das Dekor, bei dem nichts anderes um Aufmerksamkeit konkurriert — das Schalenmaterial trägt die gesamte optische Identität des Helms allein. Shark baut es als Verbundschale aus Kohlefaser über mehrdichtem EPS, dieselbe Konstruktion, die die gesamte Carbon-Seite dieses Paares verwendet, getrennt vom Schalenmaterial des einfachen RS Jet, der zu einem niedrigeren Preis daneben verkauft wird.
Ein offenes Gesicht, und was es kostet
Sagen wir es einmal direkt: Dies ist ein Jethelm, und ein Jethelm lässt Kinn und Kiefer unterhalb der Visierlinie unbedeckt. Es gibt hier keinen Kinnbügel, keinen Strukturschutz über der unteren Gesichtspartie — dieser Bereich ist schlicht offen. Was Sie gewinnen, ist ein uneingeschränktes Sichtfeld und ein Helm, der in einer Bewegung absitzt, ohne die größere Öffnung eines Integralhelms zu entriegeln; was Sie verlieren, ist genau der Schutz, den eine geschlossene Schale in genau diesem Bereich geboten hätte. Beide Seiten dieses Tauschs sind real, keine davon wird hier verschwiegen.
Was ECE 22.06 tatsächlich prüft
Diese Schale trägt ECE 22.06, die Norm, die ab Januar 2024 22.05 als zwingende EU-Zulassung für neu homologierte Helme ablöste. Der Umfang der Änderung lohnt es zu kennen, statt ihn anzunehmen: achtzehn Prüfpunkte statt fünf, mehrere Aufprallgeschwindigkeiten statt einer, und ein völlig neuer schräger Aufpralltest gegen einen rauen Amboss, den 22.05 nie enthielt — er misst die Rotationskraft eines streifenden Treffers, nicht nur die geradlinige Kraft, die ein Falltest erfasst. Montierte Zubehörteile, Visier eingeschlossen, bleiben für jede Prüfung an der Schale. Das Preisblatt liest Norme 2206, ohne FIM-Zusatz: eine Straßennorm, keine Wettbewerbsnorm.
Gewicht als Zahl, die Ihr Nacken den ganzen Tag trägt
1.430 g für die erste, kleinste Schalengröße ist die Zahl, die Shark für diese Konstruktion angibt, fünfzig Gramm unter dem, was die Standardschale des RS Jet in derselben Größe wiegt. Dieser Unterschied fällt nicht im Laden auf, wenn man den Helm dreißig Sekunden in der Hand hält — er fällt am Ende einer langen Fahrt auf, im kumulierten Aufwand, den Ihr Nacken seit der Abfahrt bei jeder Kopfbewegung geleistet hat, und genau dort verdient eine leichtere Schale, was auch immer sie an Aufpreis kostet.
Belüftung, ungehindert
Seitlich montierte Lufteinlässe speisen den Visierbereich direkt, ohne eine Kinnbügelstruktur, um die die Luft bei einer Integralkonstruktion geleitet werden müsste. Zusammen mit der offenen unteren Gesichtspartie, die einer Jet-Schale eigen ist, stammt die Kühlung hier weitgehend aus der Form selbst statt aus einem komplizierten mehrstufigen Belüftungssystem.
Visier: VZ360, seitliche Verriegelung
Das montierte Visier der Familie VZ360 verriegelt seitlich, ist für den Langstreckeneinsatz mit freier Positionierung statt nur festen Raststufen ausgelegt und kommt bereits mit einem Max-Vision-Pinlock-Einsatz mit verstellbarer Spannung. Kratzfeste Beschichtung ist Standard, eine Vier-Punkt-Verankerung sichert das Visier an der Schale. Iridium- und Dunkeltönungen für diese Visierfamilie werden separat verkauft und sind ausschließlich für den Rennstreckeneinsatz gekennzeichnet — nicht straßenzulässig, an diesem oder jedem anderen Dekor dieser Schale.
Windgeräusch, ehrlich betrachtet
Die leichtere Schale ändert nichts daran, wie laut ein offenes Gesicht bei Tempo ist: Kein Kinnbügel bedeutet keine Abdichtung, und das gilt für jeden Jethelm unabhängig vom Schalenmaterial. Kein Hersteller-Dezibelwert existiert für dieses Modell, also liefert diese Produktseite die zugrundeliegende Physik statt eine erfundene Zahl.
Wo dieses Dekor preislich steht
Diese Konstruktion beginnt bei 279,99 € für ein schlichtes Dekor, bis 319,99 € für die auf derselben Schale aufgebaute Speed-Tech-Grafik. Die Standardschale des RS Jet unterbietet beide bei 249,99 €. Im breiteren Feld der offenen Helme reicht der LED-ausgestattete Skwal i3 Jet von 289,99 € bis 349,99 € — dieses Dekor sitzt am unteren Rand dieser Spanne, ohne die verbaute Licht-Hardware.

Ersatzteile, später
Das Visier der Familie VZ360 und sein Pinlock-120-Einsatz sind gemeinsame Teile über diese gesamte Familie, Standardschale wie leichtere Schale, gelistet unter Sharks eigener Nummerierung — ein zerkratztes oder beschlagenes Visier ist ein Routineersatz, kein Grund, sich nach einem neuen Helm umzusehen.
Passform aus der Schale
Größen von XS bis XXL, sechs insgesamt. Wie viele getrennte physische Schalenformen hinter diesen sechs Größen stehen, ist in Sharks eigenem Material zu diesem Dekor nirgends angegeben, daher bleibt das hier offen, statt es an ein anders bepreistes Geschwistermodell anzugleichen — eine Vermutung, als Angabe getarnt, wäre schlimmer, als die Lücke zuzugeben.
Was diesem Helm fehlt
Keine SHARP-Bewertung existiert für diesen Helm — die eigenen Listen des britischen Programms liefern unter diesem Namen nichts zurück. Kein MIPS, keine DOT- oder Snell-Zulassung, kein veröffentlichter Windgeräuschwert, und kein LED-System jeglicher Art; die Bremslicht-Hardware des Skwal i3 Jet gehört nicht zum Aufbau dieser Schale. Full Carbon ist eines von drei aktuell angebotenen Dekoren dieser Konstruktion und das einzige der drei ohne lackierte Grafik über dem Gewebe.

Das klare Visier ist montiert, sein Max-Vision-Pinlock-120-Einsatz bereits eingesetzt statt lose beigelegt, zusammen mit reflektierenden Bändern und Sharks Standardunterlagen. SENA- und Sharktooth-Interkom-Kompatibilität ist ab Werk verbaut, ohne dass eine Nachrüsthalterung nötig wäre, und das anthrazitfarbene Gewebe braucht zur Pflege nicht mehr als ein gewöhnliches Mikrofasertuch, um so auszusehen wie auf diesen Fotos.
