Morgens grau, mittags grelle Sonne, abends wieder Wolken: Für solche Tage hat KYT das leicht getönte R2R-Visier YAR20VF0 gebaut. Es nimmt der Helligkeit die Spitze, ohne einen bedeckten Himmel düster wirken zu lassen. Auch eine leichte Tönung ist nur für Tageslicht gedacht: Bitte nie nachts, in der Dämmerung, in Tunneln oder bei schlechter Sicht verwenden.
Für Wetter, das sich nicht festlegt
Mit einem dunklen Visier ist man auf volle Sonne festgelegt; ziehen Wolken auf, fühlt es sich an wie eine Sonnenbrille im Haus. Diese hellere Abstufung liegt zwischen dunkel und klar. Sie dämpft die Blendung von nasser Fahrbahn und hellem Dunst im Frühjahr und lässt in schattigen Waldstücken trotzdem genug Licht durch. Wer ungern unterwegs wechselt, findet hier oft die vielseitigste Tagesscheibe. Optisch bleibt der R2R dabei nah am Serienzustand, weil die helle Tönung das Gesicht des Helms kaum verändert.

Eine Tönung nützt nur, wenn das Bild dahinter unverzerrt bleibt. KYT stuft das Visier in die optische Klasse 1 ein, und der Full-Vision-Ausschnitt des R2R lässt den Blick weit in die Kurve und zum Spiegel frei. Die Kratzfestigkeit zahlt sich auch bei heller Tönung aus, denn feine Spuren fallen auf, sobald die Sonne darauf trifft.

Vorab zu prüfen
Das Visier ist auf den KYT R2R zugeschnitten und passt an keinen anderen Helm, auch nicht an TT-Revo oder R1R. Pinlock-ready heißt: vorbereitet, aber ohne beiliegende Scheibe. Den Pinlock MaxVision 70, der bei uns zum R2R-Helm gehört, übernehmen Sie vom bisherigen Visier. Die Vorschriften für getönte Visiere unterscheiden sich je nach Land; bitte prüfen Sie, was dort gilt, wo Sie fahren.
