Konstruktion und Materialien
Der Fiero Racing wird aus hochwertigem 100 % Ziegenleder gefertigt, das wegen seiner hervorragenden Abriebfestigkeit und seines geschmeidigen, natürlichen Griffs ausgewählt wurde. Die Handfläche kombiniert Ziegenleder mit Digital-Wildleder- und Amica-Wildleder-Panels zu einer mehrschichtigen Griffoberfläche, die in jeder Kurve einen sicheren Kontakt zum Lenker gewährleistet. Ein 3D-strukturiertes Textilgewebe am Handrücken, an der Manschette und den Fingern sorgt für die Dehnung, die ein Handschuh braucht, der sich mit Ihnen statt gegen Sie bewegt — ohne dabei die für den Renneinsatz erforderliche strukturelle Integrität zu opfern.
Schutzsystem
Dainese hat mehrere unabhängige Schutzschichten in den Fiero Racing integriert. Der ergonomische PU-Knöchelschutz sitzt unter der Aluminium-Pro-Tek-Schale und sorgt so für eine zweistufige Reaktion auf Frontalaufprälle. Das DCP-System (Dainese Closure Protection) stützt das Gelenk des kleinen Fingers — statistisch einer der verletzlichsten Punkte bei einem Sturz — gegen seitliche Verdrehung und Brüche. Thermoplastharz-Panels an der Seite des kleinen Fingers verteilen bei einem abriebintensiven Sturz zusätzlich Energie über eine größere Fläche, während die vorgeformte Handgelenkmanschette den Handschuh fest an Ort und Stelle hält, sodass der Schutz während des gesamten Vorfalls dort bleibt, wo er sein soll.
Ergonomie und Passform
Die vorgeformte Fingerkonstruktion spiegelt die natürliche Griffposition am Lenker wider und eliminiert die ständige Muskelanstrengung, die zum Schließen eines ungebogenen Handschuhs nötig wäre. Elastische Einsätze an den Fingern und am Handrücken ermöglichen uneingeschränkte Bewegung bei Kupplungs- und Bremsbetätigung. Der verstellbare Manschettenriemen bietet eine sichere, individuelle Passform über ein breites Spektrum an Handgelenkgrößen, während das vorgeformte Manschettenband dafür sorgt, dass der Handschuh bündig an der Kombi anliegt — ein wichtiges Detail beim Tragen mit einer Dainese Rennkombi für ein geschlossenes, integriertes System.
Belüftung
Perforationen an den Fingerinnenflächen lassen während der Fahrt einen kontinuierlichen Luftstrom über die Handfläche strömen. In Kombination mit den atmungsaktiven Textileinsätzen am Handrücken sorgen diese Belüftungskanäle für eine angenehme Handtemperatur bei sommerlichen Trackdays und zügiger Straßenfahrt, ohne die Schutzstruktur des Handschuhs zu schwächen.
