Fünf SHARP-Sterne — und welcher Glamster sie verdient hat
🟢🟢 Der Glamster06 steht bei SHARP mit fünf von fünf Sternen — geprüft im Mai 2025 nach ECE 22.06, gemessen bei 1,3 kg. Der Eintrag heißt ausdrücklich „Shoei Glamster 06“.
🔵 Wichtig für den Vergleich: Der ältere Glamster ist bei SHARP ein eigener Eintrag mit vier Sternen. Die fünf Sterne gehören diesem Helm und nicht dem Vorgänger.
Zum schwarzen Glanzfinish
Der Glamster06 ist ein kleiner Helm, und Glanzschwarz ist die Ausführung, an der man das sieht. Drei Schalengrößen halten das Volumen über die ganze Baureihe ehrlich, und eine spiegelnde Oberfläche zeichnet die Rundung nach, statt sie mit einer matten Fläche zu kaschieren. Wo ein moderner Sporthelm mit Kanten und Spoilern arbeitet, hat dieser eine durchgehende Kuppel — und Glanz macht genau diese Form sichtbar. 🟢 Praktisch ist Glanz die pflegeleichtere der beiden Oberflächenarten: Insektenreste und Straßenfilm lösen sich nach dem Einweichen leicht, weil sich nichts in einer rauen Struktur festsetzt. 🔵 Der Preis ist die Kratzempfindlichkeit — dunkler Klarlack zeigt jeden feinen Kreiskratzer, den ein trockenes Tuch hineinlegt. Einweichen, abspülen, dann erst abnehmen. 🔵 Zur Sichtbarkeit: Schwarz ist der Ton, den ein wartender Autofahrer bei bedecktem Himmel am spätesten vom Hintergrund trennt. Zur Einordnung: Alle zwölf Ausführungen teilen Schale, Ausstattung, Zulassung und die SHARP-Bewertung.
AIM, drei Schalen, Doppel-D und EQRS
Die Schale besteht aus AIM — Shoeis Advanced Integrated Matrix, einem Glasfaser-Verbund. Sie ist steifer als Thermoplast bei geringerem Gewicht; das Ergebnis sind rund 1300 g.
🟢 Dazu drei Schalengrößen (XS–M / L / XL–XXL) — der Grund, warum dieser Helm auch in kleinen Größen kompakt bleibt.
🟢 Der Kinnriemen schließt über einen Doppel-D-Ring; das EQRS erlaubt Rettungskräften, die Wangenpolster herauszuziehen.
Das CPB-1V-Visier — und die Sonnenblende, die nicht da ist
Das CPB-1V ist ein Visier mit klassisch runder Form und trotzdem weitem Sichtfeld — die Kombination, an der die meisten Retro-Helme scheitern. Der Mechanismus wurde für diese Generation neu konstruiert; gewechselt wird werkzeuglos.
🟢 Eine Pinlock®-EVO-Scheibe liegt bei, samt Ersatzstiften. Ersatz trägt die Bezeichnung DKS056.
🔵 Eine Sonnenblende gibt es nicht — bewusst; stattdessen ein getöntes oder selbsttönendes CPB-1V.
Ein Einlass, Aluminiumgitter, keine Schieber
Die Belüftung ist so reduziert wie die Form: ein Stirneinlass, der nur auf und zu kennt — keine Zwischenstufen —, zwei Kinneinlässe hinter Aluminiumgitter ohne Schieber und ein Auslass am Nacken.
🟢 Das Aluminiumgitter ist dabei mehr als Optik: Es hält Insekten ab, ohne den Durchsatz zu drosseln, und es bleibt bei einem Helm, der auf Metall verweist, konsequent im Material.

Innenraum, Passform und Brillen
Das Innenfutter ist vollständig herausnehmbar und waschbar. Wangen- und Kopfpolster gibt es in mehreren Stärken, und der Helm ist ausdrücklich brillentauglich ausgelegt.

🔵 Was fehlt: eine Interkom-Vorbereitung. Es gibt weder eine COMLINK-Schnittstelle noch Lautsprecheraussparungen.
Wie laut er tatsächlich ist
🟢 Im Dauertest von MOTORCYCLE NEWS erhielt der Glamster06 für das Geräusch 4 von 5 Punkten — ein guter Wert, besonders für einen Helm mit klassischer, unverkleideter Form.
🔵 Man sollte trotzdem wissen, warum es nicht fünf sind: Ein Retro-Helm hat keinen Spoiler, keine aerodynamisch optimierte Nackenpartie und kein Kanalnetz, das Verwirbelung führt. Gegen einen Tourenhelm der GT-Air-Klasse verliert er hier.
Rund 1300 Gramm — und der Rest der ehrlichen Liste
🔵 Die ehrliche Liste beginnt bei der Ausstattung: keine Sonnenblende und keine Interkom-Vorbereitung. Beides ist bewusst weggelassen, damit die Form stimmt — aber beides fehlt.
🔵 Dazu rund 1300 g, die für einen Integralhelm zwar niedrig sind, aber kein Leichtgewicht bedeuten, und ein Geräuschniveau, das mit 4/5 hinter den Tourenmodellen liegt.
Wo er im Shoei-Programm steht
Im Shoei-Programm ist der Glamster06 der Neo-Retro-Integralhelm: klassische Form, moderne Technik, SHARP 5/5. Er richtet sich an Fahrer klassischer Maschinen, Café Racer und Scrambler.
🟢 Die Alternativen im Haus lösen andere Aufgaben: GT-Air3 (Tourenintegralhelm), Neotec 3 (Klapphelm), J-Cruise 3 und J·O2 (offene Helme).
Wenn etwas verschleißt
Visier, Grundplatten, die Pinlock-Scheibe, sämtliche Polster, der Kinnriemenbezug und der Kinnwindabweiser sind einzeln erhältlich.
🟢 Das ist der Unterschied zwischen einem Helm, den man pflegt, und einem, den man ersetzt: Ein zerkratztes Visier kostet ein Visier, nicht einen Helm.
