Jeansblau — ein mittleres, leicht entsättigtes Blau, das seinen Namen von dem Stoff hat, den es zitiert.
Was ein offener Helm leistet — und was nicht
🔵 Zur SHARP-Frage, weil die Modellnamen sich ähneln: Der Eintrag mit fünf Sternen heißt „Nexx Y100“ und beschreibt einen Integralhelm. Der Y.10 ist ein Jethelm, dort nicht geführt — die Sterne wandern nicht auf diese Seite.
Und der zweite Punkt bleibt: kein Kinnbügel.
Zum Jeansblau
Denim ist als Farbe deshalb interessant, weil sie zwischen zwei Lagern vermittelt: kräftig genug, um nicht als Grau durchzugehen, gedeckt genug, um nicht wie ein Sportdesign zu wirken. Auf einer klassischen Maschine sitzt der Ton neben Chrom und Aluminium sehr gut, weil er kühl ist, ohne kalt zu sein. Auf einem Roller im Stadtverkehr wirkt er alltäglich statt inszeniert. 🔵 Zur Sichtbarkeit: Ein mittleres Blau liegt in der Helligkeit ungefähr zwischen Grau und Schwarz und bringt gegenüber einer hellen Schale keinen Vorteil. Dazu kommt der bekannte Dämmerungseffekt — beim Übergang zum Nachtsehen verschiebt sich die Empfindlichkeit des Auges, und Blau verliert dabei schneller als Rot oder Gelb. Bei einem Helm ohne Kinnschutz ist das ein Argument für zusätzliche Reflexflächen an der Kleidung.
Polyfusion, zwei Schalen und drei Zulassungen
🟢 ECE 22-06 ist die aktuelle Fassung der europäischen Norm: mehr Aufprallpunkte als die Vorgängerfassung, zusätzliche Prüfung bei geringerer Geschwindigkeit, Rotationsbelastung.
🔵 Der Y.10 trägt sie, dazu DOT FMVSS 218 und NBR7471:2015 — nicht jedoch das chinesische CCC, das andere Nexx-Modelle führen.
Sonnenblende, Schirm — und das klare Visier, das fehlt
🔵 Was im Karton fehlt, sollte man vor dem Kauf wissen: kein klares Visier. Die leicht getönte Sonnenblende ist die einzige mitgelieferte Optik, dazu kommt der Schirm.
🟢 Die Blende ist ultrabreit ausgeführt — deutlich breiter als die übliche Bauform und deshalb auch im unteren Blickfeld wirksam.
Luftführung bei einem offenen Helm
🟢 An der Ampel steht die Luft, und genau dort merkt man den Unterschied zwischen einem belüfteten und einem unbelüfteten Helm. Der Y.10 ist auf diesen Fall ausgelegt — aktive Belüftung für das Stadtklima.
🔵 Ein zweistufiger Scheiteleinlass ist nur bei manchen Fassungen verbaut.
Innenfutter, Brillen und der Verschluss
🟢 Bei einem Jethelm liegt der Futterrand offen — man sieht ihn bei jedem Blick auf den Fahrer. Bei den Kamel-Ausführungen setzt sich der warme Ton bis dorthin fort.
Das Futter ist herausnehmbar und waschbar, der Verschluss eine mikrometrische Ratsche mit Schnellöffnung.
Interkom — und die 45-Millimeter-Grenze
🔵 Die 45-mm-Grenze ist der Punkt, an dem Nachrüstungen scheitern. Gängige Systeme liegen zwischen 40 und 45 mm — es passt also meistens, aber nicht immer. Nachmessen ist billiger als zurückschicken.
🟢 Der Y.10 ist für universelle Systeme ausgelegt, nicht auf eine Marke festgelegt.
1325 Gramm — und die ehrliche Liste
🔵 Fünf Dinge, die dieser Helm nicht kann, in einer Zeile: Gesicht schützen, klar verglast geliefert werden, eine Bewertung vorweisen, in China zugelassen sein, auf der Autobahn bestehen.
🟢 Und was er kann: bei 1325 Gramm bleiben, in sieben Größen passen und nach ECE 22-06 zugelassen sein.
Die richtige Größe finden
🟢 Zwei Außenschalen für sieben Größen heißt: Von XXS bis L wächst nur das Futter, ab XL wechselt die Schale. Der Übergang ist der Punkt, an dem sich der Sitz am deutlichsten ändert — wer zwischen L und XL liegt, sollte beide anprobieren.
Der abgedeckte Bereich reicht von 51 bis 64 cm.
Wenn etwas verschleißt
🔵 Zur Lebensdauer: fünf Jahre ab Nutzungsbeginn, unabhängig vom äußeren Zustand — EPS altert auch ohne Aufprall, durch Schweiß, Wärme und Zeit.
🟢 Bis dahin lassen sich Innenfutter, Polsterung, Schirm und Sonnenblende einzeln erneuern.
Wo er im Nexx-Programm steht
🟢 Für wen dieser Helm gedacht ist: Rollerfahrer, Pendler, alle, die kurze Strecken in der Stadt zurücklegen und den Helm mehrmals täglich auf- und absetzen.
🔵 Für wen nicht: Landstraßen- und Autobahnfahrer. Nexx schließt hohe Geschwindigkeiten und Langstrecke ausdrücklich aus.
