Vier SHARP-Sterne — der einzige MT-Helm, der welche hat
🟢🟢 Der Track SV ist der einzige MT-Helm in der SHARP-Datenbank — und er steht dort bei vier von fünf Sternen. Geprüft wurde im April 2026 nach ECE 22.06, an einem Exemplar von 1,6 kg, Größen XS–XXL, eingestuft als Integralhelm.
SHARP ist das Bewertungsprogramm des britischen Verkehrsministeriums, das Helme im Handel kauft und zerstörend prüft — keine Herstellerangabe.
Zum weißen Glanzfinish
Ein Dual-Sport-Helm verbringt einen erheblichen Teil seines Lebens im normalen Verkehr, auch wenn er einen Geländeschirm trägt — die Anfahrt ist meistens länger als der Schotterweg. Deshalb zählt Helligkeit hier genauso wie bei einem reinen Straßenhelm. Ein Autofahrer, der an einer Einmündung wartet, tastet auf Windschutzscheibenhöhe ab, und genau dort sitzt Ihr Kopf: über dem Scheinwerfer, in Bewegung vor einem stehenden Hintergrund. Je heller dieses Objekt ist, desto früher wird es erfasst, und der Vorsprung ist bei flachem, bedecktem Licht am größten. 🟢 Im Gelände kommt ein zweiter Nutzen dazu: Ein heller Helm ist über große Entfernung auszumachen, was bei Gruppenfahrten und im Notfall zählt. Dazu ein Wärmeargument — eine weiße Schale reflektiert Sonnenlast, die eine dunkle in Wärme im Innenfutter umwandelt. 🔵 Der Preis ist die Pflege: Weiß zeigt Insektenreste und Straßenfilm deutlich, und ein Helm mit Schirm fängt zusätzlich alles auf, was von vorn kommt. Glanzlack gibt beides dafür leichter wieder her als eine matte Oberfläche — einweichen, abspülen, dann erst abnehmen. Zur Einordnung: Alle fünf Ausführungen teilen Schale, Ausstattung und Zulassung.
Dual-Sport — ein Integralhelm mit Schirm
🟢 Der Track SV ist ein Dual-Sport-Helm: eine geschlossene Integralschale mit einem Adventure-Schirm. Der Schirm hält tief stehende Sonne draußen und fängt im Gelände Spritzer des Vordermanns ab.
🔵 Bei Autobahntempo greift er in den Fahrtwind — das tut jeder Schirm, und es ist der Preis dieser Bauart.
HIRP, ECE 22.06 — und zwei verschiedene Gewichte
Die Schale besteht aus HIRP — High Impact Resistant Polymer, ein im Spritzguss verarbeiteter Thermoplast. Dass ein Thermoplasthelm bei SHARP vier Sterne holt, ist bemerkenswert: Die Bauart gilt gemeinhin als die einfachere.
🔵 Zur Zulassung: nur ECE 22.06. MT führt für dieses Modell kein DOT.
Die MT-ESP-Sonnenblende
🟢 Die MT-ESP-Sonnenblende ist innenliegend und wird über einen einzelnen Schieber ausgeklappt. Ein Schieber statt zweier Bedienelemente heißt: Man findet ihn blind, im Fahren, auch mit Handschuhen.
Zur Pflege: nie trocken abwischen — Straßenstaub ist mineralisch und zieht dauerhafte Kratzer in die weiche Beschichtung.
Das HS-12-Visier und die Antibeschlagscheibe zum Nachkaufen
🟢 Das Visier heißt HS-12 und ist optisch klar sowie schlagfest ausgeführt.
🔵🔵 Eine Antibeschlagscheibe liegt nicht bei. Vorbereitet ist der Helm für Pinlock® DKS 623 oder einen FogOff-Einsatz — beide sind separate Käufe. Bei europäischem Wetter ist das die erste Nachrüstung, die sich lohnt.
ERS — das Emergency Release System
🟢 ERS steht für Emergency Release System: Rettungskräfte können die seitlichen Polster herausziehen, bevor der Helm abgenommen wird. Erst danach lässt er sich abnehmen, ohne den Kopf zu bewegen.
Bei Verdacht auf eine Halswirbelverletzung ist das der entscheidende Handgriff — und einer, über den man vor dem Ernstfall Bescheid wissen sollte.
Innenfutter, Passform und Interkom-Vorbereitung
🟢 Das Innenfutter ist herausnehmbar, waschbar, antibakteriell und schnelltrocknend. Bei einem Helm, der auf mehrtägigen Touren getragen wird, ist Schnelltrocknung mehr wert als jede Polsterdicke: Man setzt morgens keinen klammen Helm auf.
Waschen Sie es ein paar Mal pro Saison von Hand — Maschinenwäsche verformt die Schaumeinlagen.
Der mikrometrische Verschluss
🟢 Der Kinnriemen schließt über eine mikrometrische Ratsche mit doppelter Verzahnung. Zwei Zahnreihen statt einer verteilen die Last und verringern den Verschleiß.
Bedienen lässt sie sich einhändig, auch mit Handschuhen — bei einem Helm für gemischte Strecken die praktischere Wahl gegenüber einem Doppel-D-Ring.
