Engineering & Build Quality
The Cattiva wheel is the lightest rear wheel in the entire OZ catalogue. Forged magnesium offers a superior strength-to-weight ratio compared with aluminium, and the six-spoke architecture distributes stress efficiently across the rim structure without adding unnecessary material. Every spoke profile and junction radius has been refined by engineers who develop wheels for World Superbike competition — the same environment in which the Panigale 1299/S was conceived.
On Track
Reducing rotational inertia at the rear axle means the suspension reacts faster to surface changes, the tyre follows the road more accurately through braking zones, and the bike changes direction with less rider input.
