Developed in direct collaboration with OZ's SBK Racing division, the Cattiva magnesium rear wheel is the lightest wheel in the entire OZ range — purpose-built for track use on the Ducati Panigale 1199, 1199 R and 1199 S. Forged from premium magnesium alloy and shaped into the signature six-spoke Cattiva architecture, it slashes rotational mass to deliver measurably sharper turn-in, faster acceleration out of corners and more responsive handling at the limit.

Race-Bred Engineering
The Cattiva wheel exists because serious track riders understand that rotational mass is one of the most meaningful variables a wheel upgrade can address. Every gram saved at the rim translates directly into quicker steering response, reduced gyroscopic resistance through direction changes and improved feel under hard braking. OZ's SBK Racing engineers shaped the six-spoke geometry to provide the optimal balance between stiffness — critical for consistent tyre contact patch loading — and outright weight reduction. The result is a wheel that works with the Panigale 1199's chassis rather than against it.
Construction & Finish
Forged magnesium is the material of choice at the top level of motorcycle competition for good reason: it offers an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio that cast aluminium cannot match. OZ's Italian manufacturing facility applies the same processes and quality controls used for their factory racing programmes. The Cattiva is available in gloss black, matte black and gold finishes, allowing riders to complement their machine's livery without compromising any performance characteristic. Every wheel is built to the same specification regardless of colour choice.
Track Use Notice
The OZ Cattiva magnesium rear wheel is designed and approved exclusively for track and competition use. It is not homologated for road use. Riders should ensure the wheel is inspected regularly by a qualified technician and that all relevant track-day or competition regulations are met before fitting.
