Inside the Nexx Y.10, the head rests on a removable comfort liner that Nexx calls the centre liner in the manual. It covers the crown and the top of the head, while the left and right ear pads frame the face. This listing is the genuine Nexx replacement liner for the Y.10, available in black and in camel and in every helmet size from XXS to XXL.
What the lining offers
Nexx describes the Y.10 interior as fully detachable, removable and washable, made from a soft fabric with antibacterial and anti-sweat treatment. Nexx also points out that the sleek shape of the Y.10 is prepared for riders who wear glasses. A fresh liner restores the original fit at the top of the head, which matters on an open-face helmet that is often worn for short city trips several times a day.
Black or camel
The black liner suits the Y.10 versions with an all-black interior. The camel liner, shown on the Nexx photo inside a Y.10 with green shell and camel trim, has camel-coloured outer areas and fits the camel-detailed versions. Choose the colour of the liner you are replacing.
Select your helmet size
Unlike the cheek pads, the liner is sold in each individual size: XXS, XS, S, M, L, XL and XXL. Order the size shown on the label of your helmet. Using a liner of a different size changes how high the helmet sits on your head and is not recommended.

Changing the liner
To remove it, the manual says to turn the helmet upside down and pull the liner out on both sides and then in all directions. To fit the new one, insert it at the front, clip it at the back and push it in at both sides in two steps. The washing symbols in the manual call for hand washing and drip drying, without tumble dryer, bleach, wringing or ironing.
